ego battery woes

Thanks everyone! Now life doesn't look as grim as it did yesterday I got a note from the supplier, he thinks that the charger is to blame and will replace everything. This forum has been a huge help, really! Thanks again.

I just had a problem - we're guessing with my charger. Have the ego only 2 weeks. I was charging a battery - after 30 minutes or so the green light went on so I took battery off charger - I put 2nd one on and almost immediately the charger got red hot. I unplugged it right away but the battery that was on just flashed until it died. The first battery was totally dead. Supplier is sending a new charger. I just hope the batteries aren't fried. Maybe a bad run of chargers?

I am happy to hear that the supplier is taking care of you. Sounded like bad bats to me on the first dead one but the 2nd death sounded like a bad charger. Might have been a combination!

The poor babies must be really hot going outside. Do they like swimming or do they just play by the shore? It is very hot and humid here too. How are you holding up to the heat? I have just been trying to stay inside.

No, they would swim all the way to Vermont if I let them go that far..LOL..they just love the water..They think they are labs Ha Ha..I don't mind the heat but cooling off is good.you stay cool Col..or try to my dear!!!

How can you plug the battery in to charge with a cart still on? I have to remove the cart inorder to plug it into the charger

No, when the first one died it wasn't in the charger, it was fully assembled lying on the desk. Sorry if I wasn't clear.
