Better than days-before-christmas: 1st LF order anticipation giddy

I've been lurking around the LF forum for weeks now, waiting patiently for the Steel RIVA SE kits to arrive. Now finally pulled the trigger!

Was everybody's "first time" this anxious? I hope the LF transporter can find Iowa!

I think that LF has a direct line to the Post Office. My first time was like that and so was my second and so on. I don't know about their cs after the fact. I haven't had any problems with anything I received from them. I charge the batteries for 8 hours then vape for 20 minutes. I then put back on the charger. I never plug or unplug the battery while the charger is connected. All my batteries are running like champions after 5 months.

Upon arrival, do/did you give the batts a 'top-off' charge before first use?

I picked up a 901/510 adapter, so at least I can prime/clean the attys using my KR808 batts, have them ready to go. Was planning on giving the 808s to the better half to use anyway, so the adapter will be handy since I just went with 510 cartos, can use one type of carto on both setups.

when I fist received the batteries I put each on the charger for a full 8 hours. After 8 hours I took them off the charger vaped on them for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. At that time I put them back on the charger till the charger showed a green light. At that time they went in to the rotation. I don't know where I read that, I think it was recommended in the instruction but I haven't had any problems with 12 batteries yet so I will continue to do so. It works for me. That is my better half also I got tired of losing my extra Riva battery to her so half of the kits are hers. I started with the Kr808's also. I haven't looked back every since I received my first Riva. Good luck

Was really close on springing for a pair of XL attys, but that's gonna have to wait for the passthru. Had to stock on some cartos anyway.
