I'm looking for juice with better throat hit. The tobacco that came with my 510 from cignot, and menthol from rockymountainvaor seem to do the best so far, although I've gotten a couple nice HV flavors from nhaler that are tasty (grape and mint chocolate chip) but low hit. I've seen some posts from people talking about JC and some others that are too harsh a hit so they add some VG to them to knock it down. Is this the best way to find that "sweet spot"? I'm willing to try mixing on my own if that's what you experienced vapers recommend. I know it's a process of trial and error for each individual.

As always, thanks so much for your suggestions and teachings!!

Ok. Retried the HV Kent today and I liked it much better. I'm think I'm learning that I need to slow down on trying new flavors. I've been dripping a few drops of a flavor, vaping it, then moving on to the next new one to try. I think it's messing with the flavors. Ah the joys of learning proper vaping. :). Hopefully some other newbies learn from my mistakes I've been posting hehe.

Mixing flavors on the same atty will definitly skew the flavor you're getting. I've heard that menthol/mint flavors stick to the atty for quite a long time so most people have a dedicated atty just for menthol flavors.

If I'm going to mix flavors on my atty I do it purposefully. I used to mix my ry4 with my coffee to sweeten it up a bit. But at the moment I'm only vaping one flavor. I've been kind of struggling with still wanting analogs so I'm not experimenting with flavors too much. Just found one that works and I'm sticking with it...for now :D

One of the best tips I've picked up on the forum here recently was by 'Luv2cusmile.'

When testing out different flavors on one atty, put a couple of drops of straight pg or vg on your atty, vape it out, and your atty is fresh for a new flavor.

Give it a try, it works great. It even finally got rid the licorice flavor on one of my attys which, up to that point, was there to stay forever, or so I thought.

First time multi-quoting. Cool!

I've found that something with strong mint flavour (like Polar Ice or Double Mint) has the best throat het for me. (I do not like menthol cigarettes, but the double mint is more like mint-bubblegum, and not like a menthol cigarette)

Those flavors sound good. Where did you get them from? Thanks.

Good advice! I've got a few extra attys, so I'm going to give this a try for sure. Thanks.

Cool idea. Next time I order some juice, I'll get some of this stuff and give it a shot for myself. Thanks.

I find the more powerful the ecig is the more throat hit you get. Also I think the tobacco flavors get better throat hit than any of the other ones.

If you constantly vape you don't get an good a throat hit as you do when you vape at intervals.

It's funny, I was wondering about a "numbing" effect. I tend to chain vape when I get home from work and sit at the computer to work on my school. I also game late nights on the weekend and I vape tons then too. Thanks for the info. One of my favorite tobacco flavors is called "Tobacco" 24mg which is one of the bottles I got when I ordered my kit from Cignot. Real smooth and decent hit. Much better than the "Marlb" IMO. Thanks.
