This post isn't meant to slam anyone. I have total respect for CoV and I'm sure Bruce had NO IDEA this was going on.
*Bruce at clouds of vapor has corrected the problem, and pulled all of these batteries from sale. He has offered a refund to anyone who purchased such batteries. See thread for details.

Thank you Clouds of Vapor for an amazingly quick and effective response. I can see my business is well placed.

I have sent notice to him, but I want anyone who has purchased these batteries to BEWARE

My trustfire flame jacket 14500s purchased from Clouds of Vapor were not fitting in my mods... to try and find an answer, I found this video.

This video had me curious, so I ripped the jackets off one of the trustfires I bought from Clouds of Vapor... and look what I found

Checking the other battery (That was sold SHRINKWRAPPED TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!) is it GREEN and a different capacity, JUST LIKE IN THE FIRST VIDEO!

I was going to run two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT batteries in a SERIES

This is not safe. Clouds of Vapor needs to notify everyone who purchased these batteries that they were fakes, and they need to pull them from the website immediately.

I purchased a total of 4 of these fake batteries.

Again, NOT SLAMMING CLOUDS OF VAPOR. I'm sure they had NO IDEA! I still plan on making a lot of my vaping purchases from them.. they have always come through and they are a great vendor. I'm sure this will be rectified. Just be careful.

This is the kind of stuff that needs to be posted always, great post ! Trustfire and Ultrafire Batts are junk in my opinion, AW & Redilast are the quality Batts to be using in your Mods. People spend $150-$200 or any price for that matter on a mod then you and your Mod deserve to be running AW, Redilast, and top quality Batts in your PV's, nough said on that, again great post and thanks for the warning for all the ECF members I'm sure Bruce will pull them off the shelf immediately.

Yes, I have taken them off sale. And, I have just received confirmation from my factory in China.
Anyone who has bought TrustFire FlameJacket 14500 batteries can ask for a refund.
I will take care of them immediately, no return required. Just send me your order number to my email or PM me here.

Awesome and amazingly QUICK response on the issue. I've been at work, had to go right after I did this... thanks for fixing the title guys. I wasn't in any way trying to tarnish a vendor and any vendor could be victim to this, including all the flashlight suppliers.

This is a problem on the supply end.

Thank you so much CoV for correcting this problem in a matter of hours after it was discovered..on the tail end of a Friday too. Awesome place and will definitely continue to place orders on a regular basis.
