IMO I would keep away from the KDS. It dose what it says, but only when it feel like it. The lava tube is great but you will not want to put a dual coil on it. It works great with the boge 3.0 cartos though. I think you should consider 1 of 2 options. 1 is the provari, you can't go wrong with this unless it doesn't agree with your wallet. 2 is the madvapes vv box mod. It's not pocket friendly and not the best looking, bt it dose it's job and dose it very well without breaking the bank.

if someone has one at the meet, I'd love to have try a vape on it. part me is scared to try, once I taste the milk of paradise I might not be able to handle anything else, lol

I'm planning on being there & will have an Ego Booster that you're more than welcome to try out.

You can try my Provari at the meet, but I warn you, your fears may come true.

Milk of paradise...... Hmmm

*Looks at his AVE Hype in a 2.5 DCT at 5.6V..... Takes a drag....

Yep, sounds about right.

Variable voltage seems to be the third stage of vaping. It definately enhances the experience. When I started, 4 months ago - there weren't many options - the Lavatube @ $120/kit or a $60 eGo booster. Since I had 2 new Joyetech batteries - I chose the booster. I am still using today when I leave the house. To be honest, it's probably the best $60 I ever spent.

So ... what you're saying is ... you really like the booster? ;) Have eyeballed that baby more than once ...

Oh I'm sure, I tried a 3.7 lcd & the battery lasted only a week.

Read here - FAQ | Artisan Vaping

I have the one from Happy Vaper (who sell the ego booster) that says its 3.7 version but it is not a non-genuine "fat batt". it has no lcd and it passes all the criteria here

FAQ | Artisan Vaping

I think I remember reading somewhere it may be stated as 3.7 but that is a "regulated 3.3", so the name of thread is wrong

- 3.2 or 3.3v will tell you that the battery uses PWM which is what the booster was designed for. Inside all Ego type batteries, they start out at 3.7v & pass through a logic circuit which controls things like on/off, shorts, low voltage warnings, charging etc - Genuine Joyetechs have a PWM circuit in addition to the logic circuit. It regulates voltage output to a constant pulsing 3.2 or 3.3v stable type output.

Happy Vaper is a registered Joyetech dealer & has his batteries branded. They should be all Joyetech but a multi meter will tell for sure

The best way to know for sure is with a digital multi meter. Canadian Tire always seem to have one on sale for $10 or less. Every vaper needs one at one time or another.

If you can't wait, and don't mind dropping the coin the KSD VV might be a reasonable option that will fit the stuff you have. It will at least give you an idea if a voltage change makes any difference to you.

Otherwise, it honestly looks like the ego-twist is an awesome option as soon as it is released. I would assume the booster sales will drop and prices will lower on it, if it works as well as it looks it will.

I have a coupld KSD VV's, a lavatube, and I am surely going to be picking up one or 3 of those twists.

ps. and I am cheap lol
