How do I use the Ego Mega Tyoe B atomizer?

This is going to sound so Noob, no worries I am still Noob... I just got my Provape order (Yes I got a Provari!) and it included 3 Ego Type B Mega atomizers... I have never dripped before and there were on clearance for $3 each, figured good way to try it.

Never even thought of it before, but I will need a 510-ego adaptor for using on my provari but until then I will use my twist for it... this is the link for it : ProVape adapter - Ego Mega Atomizer Tytpe B Stainless

The picture of inside the atomizer doesn't look exactly like mine when I look in it... on the site it looks like it is just a flat surface with a textured porous surface, mine has a tip coming up from the center and a flat rectangular metal piece around the tip(looks like the metal piece some candle wicks have around them).... am I supposed to take that out before using it?

Do I dry burn off the primer liquid before use? I really don't know what to do with it, lol.

Edit: I also just realized that my drip tips don't fit the top of the atomizer? It is too large a diameter to fit a 510 drip tip ... hmmmm. On a positive note, the Provari is awesome!

Re: the dripping, You might want to hold off until the veterans weigh in, as I've never used one of these..... but here's what I'd do if I didn't want to wait....

I wouldn't dry burn this..... too much chance of popping the coil I'm guessing.
Yes, pull the mouthpiece off first.... Blow out as much of the primer as you can, then drip maybe 4-6 drops (I'd usually say 3, but I think these hold more) of pure PG or VG there.... let sit 30 seconds or so, and blow out again. Prime with your juice and go hard. If you don't have pure PG or VG, use juice (I just hate to waste it blowing it out).

If you've never dripped before, pay attention after a few puffs..... watch for a hit that's less flavorful or almost has a faint hint of dry hit in it. That's your cue to drip again

To add to tygers advice... the first few puffs may still taste nasty due to primer. give it time and let the true flavor shine through.

Thanks, but what about the little metal piece in there? Mine doesn't look like the picture on provape, it has a little piece of metal like a one of those small round candles have on the bottom of the candle and a small circular tube coming up through it which I cannot see in the picture from the website. There is a joetech logo on the size of my tube that says it is ego-t, but the website says not to use the tanks with it but it is good for dripping.

Also, they never came with mouth pieces... and the 510 drip tips I have are not large enough around to fit tighter over the huge opening on the top of the atomizer... I think I must be missing something, I just threw them into the order cause they were cheap and the description said they were good for dripping. The provape picture shows a mouthpiece... but all i got was the tube (with atomizer inside).

No problem, I guess should have researched it before I bought it... was in a rush on Black Friday to get the 5% discount and before all the blemished provaris were gone... going to pretty hard to drip right into that little spike! And without a mouth piece , LOL!

Thanks for the info guys, and Rolland I think you are right... the description of the link you provided says "Type B. The Joye ego tank mega atomizer comes with a center spike." Also, on the outside of my tube it says "Ego-T Joyetech". Also, the description of what i thought I ordered said it was for dripping and not for tank use. Hmmm... contact provape I guess.

That is the one I ordered... I knew something was off when I looked at it... I may be a newb, but I'm not that newb! I just emailed Provari to let them know.

Sent Provape an email, then a few pictures, and in under 20 minutes from first email the issue has been resolved. They are going to send out the right atomizers tomorrow. Seeing how I ordered them on Black Friday in the afternoon and they still had it shipped out that same day, I can imagine they were pretty busy and well, mistakes happen.
