New to this site. But in dire need of help. Lemo seems to be leaking when on its side plus trying to figure out why every hit I seem to take tastes burnt. This is my shot at a rebuildable and need help. I had it built to 1.4 ohms and even at lowest setting on Siegeli, it still tastes burnt every few hits. I've seen people saw sweet spot is around 18-20.... Mind is blown of what to do. And I have a leaking problem on top of it. I just want a nice hot that is not killing my throat. Please help me

Ok, you've probably got two separate issues here.

Leaking - This tends to happen when the device isn't making a complete airtight seal somewhere. Make sure you've got the clear O rings placed properly in both your top and bottom cap (sometimes one falls out and you accidentally put it back on the wrong side), the black O ring at the top of the chimney, and check your device for dents that can affect an airtight seal. I'm guessing you've got two O rings in the top cap or on the base piece and don't have one on the other side. A good way to test your seal is to cover all four airholes with your fingers and try to suck air through the drip tip. If you don't feel a vaccuum, keep checking - there's an air leak somewhere.

Burnt Taste - You're getting dry hits, and once you've had a few, your cotton gets burnt and you'll taste it all the time until you change the cotton out. Dry hits come from not having your wicking dialed in correctly. Check out some lemo builds on youtube and see how they wick it. Fixing the leak issue above will help a little bit, but you'll want to wick it right, too.

I hope that helps. Moving up to a rebuildable tank will get you a MUCH better vape once you've got your setup dialed in, but there's a bit of a learning curve at the beginning to figure out how to get them wicked and built right. Keep trying.

Not having an airtight seal, like novamatt said, could be your leaking problem. That will also lead to wicking issues since you do not have the correct vacuum the draw the juice into the channels. If you cover the holes completely and still get airflow (while the Lemo is attached of course) then that is your problem, well at least your biggest one.

Seal appears to be air tight. Covered holes up and sucked and lip got suck in drip tip. So everything there seems right I would say. As far as wicking, I am guessing I will have to add a new cotton and see what happens with that. I'm so frustrated now I don't feel like messing with it. It came with cotton and wire in the box so that's what I'll use I guess. Was thinking about just trying to re do a coil also and see what I come up with. Thanks all, I appreciate help and all advice and thanks for the welcome

The coil the Lemo comes with is actually nicely built, mine were at least. I never actually used them, because my Lemo's were for my DNA40, but they looked well done. I wouldn't recommend the mystery cotton (?) that comes with it though.

You will get it, there is a balance to be found between airflow, power and juice viscosity that comes with RTA's. That balance can be a little different for everyone based on what you like.
