Hiya, @Lannie ...glad you made it!

As a vet, I will have my flag out. Every holiday it goes up! My dogs hate the fireworks, but they can come and hide in our room and I'll turn the TV way up starting tonight. I think the people in our neighborhood are more pyromaniacs than patriotic!

We always fly the American flag. my dad served in WW2' husband in Vietnam and my son just retired after 20 years from the AirForce and saw his share of war..... My daughter flys it all year round!!! Have a great Independence day everyone

Good for you and yours! And thanks to your father, husband, and son for their service (I did six years USAF during 'Nam). The flag pole here at Love Acres has the stars and stripes up every day (unless we have a tornado warning - the pole has been blown down twice from microbursts).

I'm glad we don't have fireworks around here, because our dogs are scared of loud noises, too. Hunting season is BAAAAD. And that goes on for two weeks!

I just found out my e-juice will be here Monday, and I can't wait to try it out. And some little PIFfer is sending me a package as well. I should be happily trying out new flavors very soon!

She is a big scaredy cat, but she was abused before I got her so she has an excuse. I was so happy the first time she trusted me enough to cuddle with me

Our Great Pyrenees (livestock guardians) live outside all the time, regardless of weather. As Lannie said, when they hear gunshots, they run for cover. Or when we get lots of thunder... Kiara (Lannie's avatar) tries to come in the house, which is so not Pyr. Except for the time lightning knocked me on my ...., I do not fear it, and I cannot understand why these dogs do. To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever shot at them.

When I got my starter binkies, I wanted one a little different...lavender and sparkles. Then I got an X6, blinged a tank and made a charm...then sparkled up a few donated evods and spinners to make up starter kits for a few people who needed to quit smoking. @Lannie has plain old black evods, and needed something sparkly, I think. Plus, I'm hoping it cheers her up a little, she's had a rough week and she deserves something shiny!
