Happy Easter weekend to my CC family. When it rains, reach for the stainless steel.
Other than routine maintenance, still shining as new.

I have settled on the fill through tube method. I no longer remove the cap. Still have juice expand from tip of tube which I wipe off. At this point I believe penguiness is correct about the silicone sealing with the threads. I have not tried the boiling water solution she described. And I always have residue on the inside tube of the mod when I pull out the bottle to refill. I actually liked the original reos bottles but they do not fit well.

Once you get that good fit, filling through the tube eliminates all your leak points. I put a piece of paper towel under the 510 when I pull the bottle out and my mods have been bone dry ever since. I did recently have to change out my O-rings that sit under the atty (after a year'ish) but it made a huge difference for me to cut down on the amount of maintenance I was having to do.

Maintenance pfft.

Here's the skinny - smooth or brush the mating parts - use whatever you like, just get them clean and shiny, and you can use de-no-i dunno oxid on them then, i'm not sure it matters. None are tasty.
Nathan and HRH are proof that as long as it's holding together, it's working fine. The rest of the cleaning can be neglected except for firing pins.

Here's a translation
[ Using and cleaning a CC is like making love to a beautiful woman, you have to caress and stroke every nook and cranny, but pay special attention areas where electricity flows. It can be dangerous when uncontrolled batteries, and i mean the ICR's meet brutal credit card spending.

There are other safer women and batteries out there - and it's not worth risking your face for unsafe ones. } <~~this is an unsafe one and will lead to trouble.

Is that a nose?]

So pretty easy really.

This used to be somewhat organized categorically.

Now this is what I come home to.

Can't say I blame her.

Starting a new career and basically raising 3 kids on her own.

what I do is leave a little air space in the bottle for the tube, then when I insert the tube and start the cap into place I squeeze the bottle slightly, once I catch a thread and start to screw it down and see that juice starting to come from at the end of the tube I then release the slight squeeze on the bottle, this sucks the juice out of the tube back into the bottle and allows me to screw the cap home without ejecting any more juice, works well enough maybe 90% of the time, otherwise just dab it with a napkin or just run the whole bottle under running water in the sink after it's sealed back up then dry and reinstall... :)

I can't believe you did either.

But somehow, I'm okay with it.

Yet somehow you missed the 30 amp charger and DIY HP power supply?

Yep, the older 2 and I have some Traxxas 1:10 scales with enough aftermarket stuff to keep them reliable with brushless systems in them.

My little guy has his 1:5 crawler.

And the Losi Micro D/T.
