Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm working a ton of overtime at my regular job, and things have been pretty crazy...

This is actually the very last of the 316 stainless. It has a V1 squonk.

It's not a very worthy picture; the focus on the CeeCee ended up bring rather soft.

That certainly sounds ominous !!. Does this mean...

1) You're resupplying your 316 SS stock

or

2) You're upgrading all future SS orders with Titanium (no extra charge)

or

3) You're going to start offering brass again as an option

or

4) You're quitting the business

or

5) Something else

I was working from memory when I posted that I only had the one SS left. Turns out, I have a total of 3. That leaves 2 available. Yes,...I know,.... my math skillz are impressive...



Once they're gone, I'll only have 6061 remaining, as far as classic cc's goes...

The ti and ss were more than my little mill could handle, so I used a local machinist with a much larger mill to do the heavy machine work on the caps and bodies. He has a minimum of 25 per order. The demand just isn't there to make the investment, at this point...

I'm not sure if I'll do any more brass. I have the brass, I just lack the necessary time to machine them in-house. I've been working a ton of overtime at my regular job, for a while now. I'm sure that'll change, at some point, but I'm not sure when. We just landed a couple more really big contracts...

Unfortunately, I'm very late to this party, so it's grab the last one's now, or do without forever (or at least for a very long time).

In better times, this probably wouldn't have been my final selection. I'd dearly love to have a brassy or two, and even a copper to play with patinas. But such is life. Considering the circumstances, I'll consider myself fortunate getting what I'm getting now.

Hopefully, this will prove to be a successful trifecta, as I've never owned a CC before.
