Hey y'all!

Maybe a brass CC my way soon!

I'm tired of fixing my Pekos.

The posi contact is a leaf spring and it snaps in due time.. Seems all 4 of my Pekos wanted to snap at the same time...

I hear you on that. I have 3 I need to disassemble and replace that spring[emoji35]. I can't see that happening at all with Corey's design. If I could afford it, I'd replace most all my mods with CCs!

I was wondering when you would come around!!:thumb:
I sold my Pekos to fund my CC. I will say the Pekos served a purpose and great mod at that price point but requires too much fiddling & diddling with fire button, battery contact, the infamous "spring" that renders useless and breaks, etc. I never felt 100% secure when I left the house for the day so I always carried a backup. Until now, the REO was the only mod I owned that was bullet proof and I always knew it would not let me down.
Then along came the CC and .... well... need I say more???

PW
I used to take the spare springs from my REOs, cut them in half and wedge in between the bottom plate and top of the Peko "spring". Kept better contact and tension with out having to keep bending the Peko spring back into shape eventually breaking. Just my :2c:

i never tried one. would like to tho. a lot of airflow on those?
TONS of airflow! 8 air holes/channels. Wide open feels like zero resistance!

And I'm pretty sure Tom recently said he still has a few.

I haven't pinched myself....yet!

I don't do it often, but I've been trying to get the right build on the Thump, so I've been pulling the cap off more than usual. Reminds me, finally nailed a Thump build. Perfect build + perfect CC = perfect vape!!
Can you share that thump build? I can't seem to get it right

OK. Thanks. How do you get those perfect angles on the legs of the wire?
Welcome. Perfect? I Learned from Super X.
The first bend is by using a 20ga blunt needle, slip the needle over the wire almost down to the coil, while keeping inward tension toward the coil, bend leg out 90º. Coil is still on the 2mm mandrel (coil master) at this point, must be, to prevent distorting the coil. For the second bend, I pinch with a pair of mini needle nose pliers and bend the other way.

Tough to show pics, but use three caravella switch magnets (or any magnet like that with the same OD and an ID bigger then the screw) two together at the button side, one reverse polarity above the negative connector on the screw side

I've seen that modification on the Peko thread and how it helps with button and contact issues.
How does that help with the flimsy 'spring' plate on the bottom issue?

Rudy, I have five Pekos for going on two years, original everything and daily use with 25-30 ml per day, so I don't know what's happening on yours

OK, last post on Pekos here, I'll pick it up with whoever in the Peko thread

Very sorry Corey
