Thanks Corey, the mod is definitely giving me something to keep my mind off the injury.. It's beautiful and feels so good in my hand I can't hardly put it down.Hells yeah!!!

Yes, indeed, cap to body contact is part of the circuit.
There is a slight gap between the magnets in the cap and body. Ten thousandths, to be exact... They don't actually touch when the cap is on the mod, so that the mags aren't passing the bulk of the current. We rely on a good clean cap to body contact connection.
I say that,....my buddy Wes has one of my brass mods. He's horrible about mod maintenance...

Speaking of children,.......my boy had a thing this evening.....said it was important to him that I be there.....so I went....it was good.

He's 16 now though.... seems he's got better things to do, most times,...than hang with his dear ol' dad...
I don' blame 'im though... I had better things to do at that age too.
I'm always there when he needs me,....though lately, it seems like he needs me less and less... 'tis a good thing though, I guess. He's becoming more independent. Oh, to be 16 again.....
