I know....
Not to sound all whiny or anything,......but it's been a long hard day.
This overtime at "work" is beatin' me down a bit... Plus, that last pic,...you know, the brass button??? Yeah,...that was right before my corner rounder decided to dig in, and completely destroy that button... Just like it did with the copper, not too long ago...
So, I just did the only reasonable thing I could think to do... Say curse words, shut the lathe down, say more curse words,....get on mscdirect dot com, and order a couple hundred dollars worth o' tools...
Titanium nitride coated corner rounders, and such... I feel better now.
Hopefully that'll help with the digging in and chattering... We'll see...![]()

Pffft. Maker me a titanium CeeCee and I'll get you a brand new man-card,Beck's never gonna let me get that man card back, at this rate...![]()

You know me I'd be all for a titanium mod.....but..... my question is how will one overcome the conductivity issues of titanium?? Would this be an issue?Pffft. Maker me a titanium CeeCee and I'll get you a brand new man-card,
WHAT???? Titanium Cee Cee...did I miss something?
Given the rather substantial cross-sectional area of mod's body, I don't think the somewhat higher resistivity of titanium would be a problem at all. In any case, I've volunteered to be the beta tester. You know me I'd be all for a titanium mod.....but..... my question is how will one overcome the conductivity issues of titanium?? Yeah, like since before this thread existed.Rossum has been on this kick for a while.

Me, neither! Hard enough just to pay for a brass! The thought of titanium sounds cool, but I would not be able to bring myself to paying the price it would require.

Even though the Ti would be more expensive I can guarantee it would be considerably less than the sterling silver version that has been discussedMe, neither! Hard enough just to pay for a brass!

Well, sterling would definitely be an extravagance I could live without! I could probably buy10 aluminum CCs for the price of one of those!Even though the Ti would be more expensive I can guarantee it would be considerably less than the sterling silver version that has been discussed![]()
