Well, distorto predicted $1495... Since raw material costs are only half that (the 100-oz extruded bar should make TWO mods), that leave about $750 to fabricate each mod, no? Then there's the scrap value of all the swarf...

I'm thinking make castings that are a little oversized where material is so it will machine down nicely and pour 4 from the that bar. Or melt down Grandma's silverware.
