Slots, my new friend,...welcome!
The good news is, what was once a year long wait, has been knocked down to just a few weeks now.
You like brass, copper, or aluminum?

Let's see ... I have all three stumpy's, and the brass (saw picture) with a gold stumpy really looks cool.
Then again, I like the ss with the aluminum too. But I think there's a slight difference between the finishes.
Need to go back and check out that picture.
If I had a copper, I would probably want to do a patina job on it, and I'm not sure how that would hold up with the finger wear. ... but the nuppin drip tips came out great.
I'm probably leaning towards the brass, but Iet me sleep on it sweetie
I love the squonk on the side ... looks much easier on fingers with arthritis.

Question .. I have Reo's, and I'm curious how much difference there is in the design.
Do you have any "inside" pictures I can look up somewhere.
What's the price on each, or are they all priced the same.
Also do you sell "just in case, parts" for klutzy people.

Good evening Slots...Having just caught the ride on the CC train myself and also fortunate enough to have a few Reo's, I can say that the internals of the CC are quite solid and will last quite some time before having to worry about any type of spares. Just a matter of atty build, load and play. The brass is quite a bit heavier than the aluminum and may be better suited to arthritic hands...

Was it your picture over on chowder's ... if so, there sure is a difference in size between the CC, and the Wood Reo.
I bought all kinds of "spare" stuff for the Reo's, and have never needed any, but I would hate to break something on a beautiful, but pricy mod, and not be able to fit it.
Thanks for the info on the weight difference ... the brass isn't "TOO" heavy , is it

Long and boring but'll show you the brass and aluminum up close. Gonna film another vid soon showing off the CCs with Stumpys so you'd get a better feel for the gold on brass. They are different hues for sure but IMO looks good. I brushed the mod but before I did that it looked even better (the darker brass from age showed less contrast with the gold atty)

And when I get copper I'll make another vid showing all 3 up close. I think it'll be my fave.

I'm not familiar with that model number, Kiwi. I have used the 7448 pads, and they are really good.

The ones I use now are these.....

I think any of them in the ultra fine range would be fine.

The internals are really simple....

Very easy to work on, and all parts are replaceable.

I'll send you a pm.
