So, 26x32 ss claptons.. why do I have a 3-4 second ramp up time?

My experience, dual claptons are a bit much for single mech. I have not tried SS clapton though. Positive contact clean?

Yep the 1 liter bottle of 100 mg . With that price I can barely buy 200 ml of 18 mg here in greece. It sucks indeed. Although I'm covered for a year still, it's a good idea to start looking around I say.

My contacts are spotless. My mod on the other hand, is dirty as hell.

Make sure the mod surface where the cap meets the body is patina free. That is part of the circuit. I was noticing some performance decrease on my brassy, cleaned up the underside of the cap, including around the magnets and the seam of the body where the cap sits on. Made a huge difference for me.

I figured I'd give the gib tightening a try......

I'll order up some screw jacks, and see what that does, next...

What's your net resistance?

I've personally never enjoyed large-mass builds on mechs. Typically requires me to go down to 0.2 ohms region just to get the ramp up time to be decent.

what type of SS are you using?, what does it ohm out too?

Deoxit is key for preventing this. Every time I do maintenance, I wipe down and reapply deoxit to the area around the magnets- I coat it pretty good, and I've had absolutely no build-up at all in months. I started this after I realized what a PITA it is to clean this area!

See if nude nicotine or Vaperstek will ship to Greece I'm not sure. IMHO both of those nics absolutely floor MFS nic, but that's subjective...I always got a peppery taste from MFS, whereas nude nic and VT are very clean. They do cost a bit more, but not as much as what you pay in Greece

That is precisely the piece of info I was looking for. I was offered very high concentration nic from MFS by a fellow vaper in Egypt but I was a bit hesitant because of the peppery taste. So ..back to the nude nic 100 mg plan.

Well, not sure what will happen with this TPD thing. But my future plans might involve moving. So I am hesitant to buy nic and never be able to take it into another country. Then again my plan was to move from here 5 years ago and I am still here ... so ... yeah ...

Again - YMMV. I gagged hitting MFS unflavored. Never again

ETA peppery may be the wrong word...but MFS nic does have a cigarette-ish taste. That's why my good friend SuperX loves the stuff. I prefer true unflavored myself.
