Right on! Thanks, Corey. This looks totally doable. The pics really help!
I am extremely ocd about lining up the air holesRight on! Thanks, Corey. This looks totally doable. The pics really help!
So, the nut on the bottom adjusts the delrin and screw height?
I am so excited about this... I happen to be ridiculously picky about how my air holes line up and how much gap there is between my mod & atty, so when I want to change attys, it takes a while. This will be perfect! And just when I thought the CC couldn't be any more perfect...![]()
No copper, though...Nuppins comin!
It's like a sickness for me... I even sanded down my brass pin just a touch to get everything lined up juuuuust right.I am extremely ocd about lining up the air holes![]()
Who hasn't?I actually had to go look up Georgia May Jagger

I finally got one!

I'm extremely impressed so far. It certainly has a lot of weight for such a compact mod. I just threw an Odin that already had coils in it for the test drive, but it performs WAY better than I remember this atty doing on my Reos [emoji3] I really need to find another Nuppin to finish this off though [emoji848] You do EXCELLENT work Corey!
Master of Bassets...and not much else

Just so we're clear.... The thumb nut, toolless atty adjustment thing, is something that our good friend Peter came up with, some time ago.
He was gracious enough to allow me to employ it on my mods, with his blessing.
I'm not sayin' he's a genius or anything,........but,..............alright,........dude's a genius.....
He's a much better 'splainer than I am, so here's the way he 'splained it to me.......
"The "510 internals assembly" consists of:
The +post (bottomed out in the white delrin insulator)
White Delrin
Positive contact
Brass Thumb Nut
(juice tube, but whatever)
This assembly functions as a complete (static) unit when cinched together.
Remove "510 Internals Assembly" from housing (or loosen off by a couple turns: see "Disassembly" below)
Install atty until it bottoms out
Screw in internals assembly until + meets +, good and snug (but finger snug, not tool snug)
Touch finger to positive contact (to act as a stop), and unscrew only the Brass Thumb Nut (which will break free of the assembly and not disturb the location of the delrin as long as you're stopping the contact from turning with it)
Re-orient the contact to center it over the fire button
Tighten Brass thumb screw
Disassembly or atty swappage. Start by loosening off the atty. The delrin (and thus the 510 internals assembly) is freed up to spin by hand once the pressure is taken off it."
Slightly edited to more accurately fit these mods...![]()

Total genius! It makes me soooo happy that you guys are so cooperative with all the sharing of designs & parts & stuff rather than being all competitive & proprietary. You guys are an excellent example of how we all need to be in this community. I have a block of wood on it's way to Peter, and I couldn't be more honored to be able to support you both in what small ways I can.

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly... just sayin' won't be all matchy-matchy with Gig's copper CC. Though I think he's got a few Nuppins already...Better SS then Nuppin at all, no?![]()
