To each their own...I hate computers, especially Microsoft operating systems :)

ETA I don't hate computers, I like laptops...what I hate is being hunched over at a desk, though.
Which is exactly the same posture as playing a guitar!

Of course - it's important that you work all the time, never leave the workbench and have food air-dropped in when you need a breather now and then.

Since i'm hardly able to use any power tools without adult supervision, could you explain to me what each different drill bit is accomplishing because i notice that like an old girlfriend, a few get used on the same hole.

Um, no, it isn't ...

Doesn't have to be. Besides - which is funner?

We'll disagree on that too I bet. I still love you ;)

Just for you Sloth - i found my old guitar and played it yesterday. We may disagree on musical styles, but i'm so sick and tired of Mark and Eric phoning me and asking for riffs.

It's something i maybe could have done professionally when i was 20, but i was scared and didn't.

I finally got one!

I'm extremely impressed so far. It certainly has a lot of weight for such a compact mod. I just threw an Odin that already had coils in it for the test drive, but it performs WAY better than I remember this atty doing on my Reos [emoji3] I really need to find another Nuppin to finish this off though [emoji848] You do EXCELLENT work Corey!

Master of Bassets...and not much else

Today's journey was to scenic Hammond Indiana. Thankfully it was relatively quick (we didn't have air conditioning) [emoji849]

I used to have (well, still have but no longer use as a phone...it is now a media player :p) a Nokia Lumia. It has a Carl Zeiss lens that oscillates for image stabilizing, and a fairly robust CMOS chip....it will rival any point and shoot camera for picture quallity, and exceed many of them in low light photographs due to the oscillating lens.

I doubt we disagree on all musical styles brother...I like a lot of music :)
We should play together sometime - you on guitar, me on bass, Corey on drums

Sorry, but there is no substitute for a few good monitors and and IBM model M keyboard, and those require a desk. Moreover using a yoga ball instead of a chair will go a long way toward curing that hunched-over feeling.

For work purposes, sure. For personal purposes, that is highly, highly subjective and I do not agree at all. I was referring to the latter since the discussion had geared towards personal likes/dislikes.

The yoga ball is a great suggestion. I have back problems...will look into that :)

:D

Gotta sneak up on the diameter you're after, especially where the magnets are concerned.

If the hole ends up too big/loose,.... it ain' no dang good....

I probably overdo it, taking such small bites, on my way to a given diameter, but by this point, I've got so much time/money invested in these babies,... I don' wanna take any chances.... ;)

The trouble with being a self-employed business owner is that there's no clear line between work and personal.

Yeah, I hear you - my dad owns his own business, says the same thing.

Dunno what HTH means but I'm really curious about the yoga ball...thanks a lot.

I brought back problems on myself...knee problems, too...comes from my years spent backpacking :(

Yoga, period, helps a lot. Haven't been doing it lately...need to start back!

Have a high end digital camera and it pretty much sits gathering dust. In fact, most of my postings and all of my pictures come from my stupid smart phone. I can monitor the house, count my money, pay the bills, and start, heat, and unlock the truck. My first cell phone was a Motorola flip. When I first got it, I was on the golf course with a couple of buds one afternoon on the 14th hole and we were starving. I flipped open the phone and had a XL pizza and a sixer of beer waiting for us the parking lot. It gave new meaning to the 19th hole. Man, I remember thinking I was crapping in tall cotton then.
