Real tacos are soft. Leave the crunchy for tostadas.

Those there are traditional authentic south of the border taco's my friend... Also note, no cheese!! I laugh at every "authentic" restaurant I go into they are covered in cheese. The first question I ask is, has anyone in this establishment ever been south of the border? Has anyone here ever researched "authentic" south of the border cuisine? The answer to both are no and no!!

Hey Corey. This is gonna be a really silly question (and I think I've asked you before), but what is the tool used to remove the notched brass ring that secures the 510?

Beyond screw drivers, screws, wrench, mills and lathe, I'm a complete fool when it comes to tools.

The "proper" tool would be a spanner wrench that fits into the notches good and snug...

I have no such spanner wrench.... :(

So,...in true "get 'er done with what'cha got" fashion,... I use a small pair of channel lock pliers...

I have also used a small pair of needle nose pliers......

With needle nose pliers, you'll wanna slips the tips into the notches...

I've been on the hunt for some brass M10 x 1.5 hex nuts, that are small enough to use here. No luck, so far.....

It's not that difficult, either way. :thumb:

Actually decided to go with the stainless. Couldn't resist!
that is the one I would have gone with if it had been available when I got mine. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my brassy. I just know SS would hold up even better for my lifestyle

No sweat, good bird. :thumb:

BTW,.....I hope the new 510 and tools get through customs okay..... I made sure to put on the custom forms that, "This product is in no way related to ecigs! Nope! This is NOT the connector that an atomizer screws into, on an ecig type device! #notvaperelated"

Should be just fine. :)

I just wish you would listen to me and add in "#cloudsbruh #fogging #vapelyfe"

God. What does a man have to do to get some decent service around here.

Taco good, any kind :thumb:

Something interesting going on here :?:

While on vacation I didn't do anything to my mods other than filling, changing batteries an vaping. I noticed the patina looking kinda peculiar but today when I took my copper out I noticed something really cool going on. I tried to capture the true effect but the pics don't do it justice, it's kinda metalflake, mottled, 3D shimmery kinda looking...

I'm not sure if it is due to the salt air closer to the ocean or what, but I wish I knew so I could keep it going.

Metal is crystalline usually, but that looks good. It reminds me of the way zinc forms as it cools.

T

That's what it looks like, almost layers of crystalline formations that appear and disappear as the light hits it from different angles. When I said 3D, some of the crystals are angled and on multiple layers. It's really super cool.
