Woohoo!!!

Thank YOU, my friend! :toast:

Try loosening off your atty, running the insulator in just a little, then crank the atty back down. Really put a good end load on the threads in there. That should seal things up if it's coming from the 510. :thumb:

Ok , i will try that. I had to loosen it quite a bit to get my maker rsa to sit flush , i cnt stand seeing any gap.
Thnx

Dang it! :(

I wish there was a standard in this industry.... I like to have my insulator ran all the way in tight, and have my atty sittin' flush! :-x

So much so, that I always either sand the head of the mod 510 pin down, the atty pin, or both, in an effort to achieve this.....

How 'bout 4mm??? can we all agree, right here and now, that 4mm is the perfect length for an atty 510???

C'mon, atty makin' peeps!!! It really ain't that hard!!! :rules:

Very few come in at 4mm. The average is between 4.55mm and 4.7mm. That's the range most of them arrive in and I try to keep them within .1mm of stock. Ironically the maker that was previously mentioned is the exact same as when it comes in (I cheat on that one and drill the stock pin)

If you are trying to find a standard to build to figure on 4.5mm and leave an adjustment of +/-.5mm and you will cover 98%.

Right.....
Im looking for a super thin 22mm delrin washer to put under my atty , it would solve that issue as well as protect from scratches and heat transfer . That idea is free!!

Yeah, yeah...I know...

It just seems like a good round whole number would make sense....

Even if it is metric...
