I'd just like to point out that symmetry has been maintained...

What sort of hat might one put on a Ti (if one had a Ti of one's very own) and one had a matchy-matchy compulsion?
Ohman Pancake? It's Ti after all.
I really think you need to add a titanium for yourself....you know....maintaining symmetry and allJwat has officially joined the party!

I'll try to hurry?...

Been there. Not with a poobox, but been there.Since I posted that, 2 minutes ago, I have tried to take a toot of my mod thrice, each time putting a thumb (once) and pointer finger (twice) on the top of the Poobox![]()
I'm good with factory seconds, though.![]()

Haha will do! It's going to be really tough, like actually.
I just told this story to Corey (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it!) in PM, but I have to share it here.
So I'm packing up my CC and off in the distance I hear something. Now, I live in a city, but it's not very large, which made this all the more hysterical. As I am lamenting having to send her back, and taping up the box, a lone trumpet player was playing taps.
I swear to God :lol
Also, recycle your packaging people!

Some of you will recognize this
Ingenious, really.
This is so sad

Most folks'll tell ya to get two stand alone machines, if you want to mill, and turn..... I tend to agree with that, especially if you'll be using the machines a lot, and crankin' out lots o' parts. However, you can do a lot of really cool stuff with that setup.
That is a pretty large machine, though. It's actually bigger than my new lathe. That, and the fact that it's 500 pounds.....You just wanna make sure you have the room for it, and a really solid base to set it on.![]()
I've got a 15' X 30' shop in the back with a garage door on the front, room and a solid base are not a problem
Im certainly not looking to go into mass production and would definately be open to less expensive options (if I were to fall down this here rabbit hole).
I thought of mill/turn caps or drip tips made out of ultem or delrin. So I think a smaller lathe is able to do the job as well?
