Haven't been playin' much, lately...bed bugs have been wreaking utter havoc on my life for the past 2 weeks...:glare::glare:
Sorry to hear, brother.

Been there, done that.

Sealed and painted any unsealed wood.

Kept the carpet layered in DE powder for months.

Sprayed nearly the whole house with recommended bug killer.

Put all linens and clothes through the dryer over and over for months.

Disassembled the dryer, cleaned out the exhaust, replaced the exhaust tube, heating element and temperature sensors to avoid a fire hazard just in case.

Caulked and sealed every Crack in the house.

Removed every item from the house, rented several jobsite torpedo heaters and raised the temperature in the house to over 130 degrees F for several hours.

Treated every item before it was reintroduced to the house.

Replaced our mattress. (Kids mattresses were still in original plastic.)

Replaced living room set.

When we moved to MD we kept mattresses from the old house sealed in plastic in the garage attic for over 2 years before we even used one of them again.

I'd rather have scorpions as far as pests go.

I feel your pain.

I'm pulling for you.

Bombing is a horrible idea. It will not take care of the problem, it will drive them into other places.

My house is 160 degrees right now - 140 in the walls.
Wait till you rediscover those decorative and teacup candles you forgot you had.

Oops!

2 years is a bit much, given the lifespan of a bedbug, but i admire your thoroughness.

According to some sources, IIRC, a bed bug can live up to a year without a blood meal.

I didn't keep track of time.

And we had mattresses to get us through and the ones in the garage were a beach to get to.

Only put my daughters mattress into service in MD because the one she was using sprung a spring in her back.

The others didn't come down until they went into the truck to Tennessee.

For maintaining a spousal unit?

I think not, my friend.

That's not even a convictable offense.

Never claimed to know what they were.

Claimed to have rediscovered the remnants.
