So I dropped my cc on the concrete floor today. The top separated from the body & the button fell out. I put it together, went outside for a vape & the button got hot. I took it apart & removed the battery. Hot! Holy stuff! I must have broke the insulator on the 510, I thought to myself. I went back to my desk, took it apart, & all looked fine. Pushed the button again HOT. Thought I would look it over later. Went back to work. Then it struck me. My button is stainless. I went back to where I dropped it. There it was the insulator from the button. Duh! Got out the super glue put the plastic back on the button. Good as new.
Really is indestructible. I do need a case though. Think I'll get on coffee bum's thread now.

That is exactly why I wanted a cc. I probably dinged the floor though. I'll have to look tomorrow.
Quick update.......
The 7068 material for the new mods has been ordered. It should leave Pennsylvania in the next couple days, and be here next week sometime. Then, it'll just be a matter of the machine shop having time to fit it in the schedule. I've been assured that it'll be in the next few weeks....
As for Classic mods..... I don't have anyone who's ready for one, at the moment. So,.......I'll be takin' a nap, if anybody needs me...
What will run 1 be? Hoping I'm in the first dual straight run. But know 26650 and triangle had more interest.

I'm sorry to ask, given I could prolly find it if I looked hard enough... What's the Italian bottle that I want to get? The one that's stupid expensive, comes in 10-packs, and squonks a dream. I'm thinkin these gorgeous mods deserve those bottles.

I garnered enough energy to do a search, which, in turn, led me to the post on the REO/pinch bottles currently in use. Which I have a number of, somewhere. Just gotta find em.

I still use the fancy Italian squonk bottles like what Rob has over at reosmods, in one of my mods. I still really like 'em. I've never had any problems with the 2 that I have.
