What's cruel is when they alude to the "shipping issue" being the fault of the carrier and the holiday when I mentioned it was supposed to go out last Tuesday. Then I'm told from them to John would be 3 days shipping. (Should be 2.) Which means John would have received it before the end of the weekend at the latest.

But they can't answer if or when it was or might get shipped.

Ok folks I have a question for you? Just trying to gauge interest in an idea I have for the CC finish. Would anyone be interested in doing a bead blasted finish instead of the brushed?

I think Corey may have a pic of one he bead blasted when we first spoke about my first mod. Looked really good.

Ha! Well at least it is on the way lol. So did you get the pink zebra wrap?
All joking aside, they do make a clear wrap that would protect from some of the normal wear on a mod.
They should give you a few of those at least.

Well I may be wrong. I just went through our PMs and he talked about doing it. Not sure if he ever did. The big plus for the brushed, IMHO, is that any scratch can be easily removed with a scotch brite pad.

i think it depends on how one intends to use the mod. I have a tmod with a bead blasted finish and it hardly ever gets cleaned, true to my long-standing beliefs about mod cleaning!

HRH has a CC mod and loves the brushed finish because it's a lot easier to clean and polish back to its original condition, something she does at least weekly.

I'm hard on my mods and she takes very good care of hers; moreover, i'm reluctant to discourage her from polishing and cleaning things in any way!

I was going to but figured it was nicer to make sure Rudy got what he was looking for rather than my pink zebra.

ETA; I should be getting a clear wrap for myself. Though I've requested they don't apply it so I can send it to the spa.
