Yeah, Russ and KK are right, as usual. 
I've worked really hard, for a lot of years to get where I am in the company I work for. I actually got a big promotion recently, as well. While I would much rather be building mods full time,... I just can't see how I could walk away from the position I've worked so hard for.... Honestly though,... If I were 100% sure that the mod business would last for 20 more years or more,... I'd have to give it serious consideration... Sadly,... there are no 100% guaranties in life...

So it's been about a week since the last polishing
And this is where we are at now
She's still in that "just looks kinda dirty" stage but there is a little color starting to show (not sure how well that is showing in the pic).
While driving I set my mods on a piece of cabinet shelf liner (which has had some juice seepage and not yet been washed) on the center console of my truck so it is starting to pick up a little snakeskin/fishnet stocking pattern which I am kinda digging.
KK, I saved your pic to my photos and it looks normal there, not sure why it's looking like your BB and a brass nemesis had an illegitimate child for me

Yours is coming a long nicely, Much better pic than mine, but I am not much of a picture taker. Can't wait to see it after another week.So it's been about a week since the last polishing

Your too kind but I am an expert at taking really bad pics of really great subject matter, your pics looked good to me once they weren't all stretchy
I'm looking forward to seeing how she progresses as well, the color just started showing today so I'm hoping it gets more interesting from this point.

Speaking of such things,..... it looks like Beck's 7075, just hit Salt Lake City!!!

I feel you Corey, you could quit and build mods full time for awhile but who knows maybe 3 or 4 years top's, what's hot only lasts so long till its something new.
I look at the resale value of certain mods that would be sold in minutes, now sit for longer and move for less, and I am talking mechs
Your work is incredible, and I'm sure that is evident in your professional life

Well USPS has dropped the ball again. My BB from Mark was supposed to be here last Friday. The tracking said it made it to north Houston on Sunday, but the tracking just sat there and never updated. Yesterday afternoon it updated that it had left the north Houston facility. But it still has not made it to my post office. I have another package from Mark coming and the tracking for it said it left the north Houston facility and it has already arrived at my post office. I'm a little scared that they are sending it back to Mark. I don't really know at this point.

Pretty sure it's not gonna make it by then..... For some reason, it went from customs, in Chicago, to St Paul,MN...

Something must be screwy with their tracking system. Last week I purchased something off the classies. Friday, seller gives me a USPS tracking #. Monday, item was delivered, but I didn't get ANY of the notifications until it was delivered!
Well cool beans.....the tracking just updated and says it has arrived at my post office. Maybe it will be in my hands tonight!

Maybe hire & train a couple part time guys do the basics like cutting, milling, etc. and you do the finishing work?
