This is the point where I typically go clean off the workbench, put down a piece of white poster board, and take some better pics...
It's nerve wracking taking finished mods out into the shop, though... Metal dust on everything... I've actually had to refinish a few mods, after taking them out there, because I would inadvertently put a light scuff or two in the finish, moving 'em around on the poster board...
I would like to avoid that this time... I even went so far as to purchase a light box. Thing is,... the white material that came with it, to use as a background, is all wrinkled, right out of the package... And, the lamps that came with it suck rocks...
I'ma go try and figure somethin' out... Might have to break out the iron, and iron that piece o' white material that came with the light box....
Maybe Nathan can gimme some light box pointers,...as he's got it down to a fine science...

AWESOME!!!!!! I can't believe I am now wishing the weekend was over already. Plus I got my rogue back from Ross at apex today. They should make a nice pair.
Hey bro... do a "white balance" with your camera in that light box. It should be in the menus somewhere and you just push the button with the camera facing nothing but a white surface, like your background.
These mods are simply perfect! can't wait for my number to come up. But now I'm on the fence brass or aluminum???
