The real problem is not enough Brass

Many of us have found that if you close off the airflow just a tiny tiny bit to cover a sliver of one air hole, it dramatically reduces the sharp whistle. [emoji51]CeeCee is testing a Thump... she liked the Stumpie she had on before but the top air holes of the Thump seem like a good ideal for an over squonker like me. Great flavour and good cloud production but is this Thump noisy! Oh wow that initial whistle and noisy airflow is going to be annoying!

Twiddle thumbs. I was wondering if anyone has measured the v drop on the CC.
Granted I'm obsessing over the CC cos of the size and how it looks, I've been constantly on the search for a low v drop and hard hitting squonker.
I'm pretty obsessive over cleaning and maintaining the contacts of my reos, but even those give me a vdrop of 0.6 to 0.7V under a 0.4ohms load.
I can see two huge improvements in the CC as it is: way better contact on the positive and negative contacts so I'm assuming that should cut out considerable vdrop

I wish someone would start measuring the internal resistance of mods. Voltage drop tells me little. A 0.5V drop could be part battery sag or all battery sag.
The CC hits hard. I think the reason is that it is constructed extremely well. Whether it is brass or aluminium(body or 510 pin) I think won't make much difference.
if BobC would loan me his I would be more than happy to see what I could find out.![]()
Btobw.......
If someone doesn't like one of the blue looking ones I guess I could take it.
Just tryin to help,,

I've been on a 10,500 Km road trip across Australia and back, and missed the progress pics! But I came back to message to say my beautifull CC was finished![]()

not sure. source was here http://www.vapercafeaustralia.com/threads/squonkers-are-bonkers.299/page-15#post-22898Thanks for that, Doffy. I'd like to know the resistance of the build in that atty though....
