I'm with you, just not a good picture taker.Everyone's pics come out so nice! Me, I just take my chances and point and shoot. If the pics come out good, fantastic! It's certainly not from my photographic skills! I envy you guys being able to do such nice stuff by camera.

In the same boat. I've handled some of the best DSLRs out there, and still can't take a decent pic! I've been thinking about making a DIY light box to use instead of my usual dish towel backdrop![]()
YES! Just like that!! I was thinking of using scrap wood from my shop, and come up with a hinged setup so I can fold it up easily for storage.
You guys have some great ideas!!!!!!!!!
A light box is cool, bit it removes the challenge of finding an interesting background.

That was obviously down in Florida, where the humidity is high and there's lots of salt in the air. Now that I'm back in PA, the patina on the parts of the mod that I are constantly in contact with my skin has worn away completely. Those areas are back to bright, shiny copper, and I've done absolutely nothing to the exterior of the mod other than normal use/handling since then. Go figure. That patina progression is gorgeous!!!
