It was a neat ride, but knowing the story behind it kept me from enjoying it as much as I should have. The particular individual does not tend to call it the Hurricane, as that nickname came later.
Looks like she will Patina up nicely should you go that route.
Being outside and well traveled it should develop an interesting patina.

I'm gonna buff her up tonight, cause she took her first drop today
RIGHT after that shot was taken. Hit the floor hard - this thing's durable as all get out, it barely scratched it. But I'ma try a scotchbrite to get the hang of using it, and ren wax. I do intend to let her patina though, since it's reversible anytime I want the shiny 
It's an emotional mod bro...an emotional stability mod, if you will...even just thinking, "what should be her first hike," is a challenging question...there are so many "firsts" to experience with her
And then that beautiful aluminum up there will be coming home soon too!!

Your setup there is class-A-stunning! Holy Plankton, that matching brass Derringer is the icing on the cake. I am so honored that our brassys are siblings from the same historic CC run!

Yes, that is the X-11. His next design that went to production was the Rocket III. BSA closed their doors not long after that and he started designing fairings and windshields.
