Bummer, all you have to do is whenever you're asked a question just say "when do we get to hang someone???"

I've had 6 jury summons in the last 8 years and I have found if I wait and straggle in with the last of them they already have their jury and I'm freed!
This is the first I've ever gotten but the thing is, honest truth, I can't do it - they're asking for a full week, there's nobody to take my place at work. Two times a year at most can someone cover a week for me and it's called vacation

I won't tell them the vacation bit but I can get it in writing, and will, from one or both my managers, saying I can't leave work...that's all I need, right?

I really don't know about your state but Washington was easy, I just had to let the republican inside shine and I was out.
