I see I shouldn't have commented then. I apologize.
It's called sarcasm... I know it doesn't translate the same on a computer as it does in person, but I thought it sounded better than....................DUH!!!! I completely agree that this should be put aside and go back to the regularly scheduled programming.

Don't know that I like the idea of boring an extra hole in the bottom of my Reo's but I do know that removing the powder coating under the negative spring and reinstalling it with a coat of silver conductive grease certainly helped. Now that I'm looking at Corey's custom contacts, ( CCC's by CC...:p ) thinking I may just try coating and polishing a spring or two with a bit of this...

As Aal pointed out, the spring is the larger part of the voltage drop and to me, its not a very big hole and it doesn't really harm anything... You have to look at the bottom of the device to actually see it and I don't know about you, but I don't look at the bottom of mine too often. I'm too busy vaping them to look. I think the silver spring is a good alternative and all, but I think the screws I got from Corey were probably cheaper than the spring. Good insight though D...

I've used the Pdib brass strip on a couple of Reos for a long time now. It's a lazy rule-breaker's way of getting around the voltage drop of a crappy spring yet retaining that cushioning if you need it.

I'm looking for a bed that is the same but HRH sticks to brass as evidenced by the fact that the CC i bought her hasn't left her hand in months.

you kids are workin' way too hard.

and you can pull it aside to employ the hot spring to test new builds and newly installed atties

also, i used to build a little too low in res. and use the spring for the first .2-.4V and then employ the shim for "2-stage VV"
Oof!

No thanks.
