Corey, the SS CC arrived today, and it is absolutely flawless :hubba: Thank you so much :w00t:

There were going to be sound effects to take you to the Australian bush on a beautiful day, but the kookaburra stopped laughing :(

lol, these yanks would probably barbeque kookaburras

i like feeding them sausages, they bash them on their perch to "kill" them, like they would a snake

They're very good at 'acquiring' food. I've had them take hamburgers straight off the bbq grill. And they know it's hot ... they're very careful where they stand before reaching over. If there's no food for them, they sometimes sit on the deck railing and stare you down. Those beaks are very intimidating close up.

For those who vape sub ohm 0.2-0.3 Ohm do you have to clean the contacts of this mod often? Had issues with my REO Grand LP with a lot of ugly dark spots on the positive contact of my batteries.

Ultrasonic once a week does the job

Thanks for the tipp. But I am more worrying about my batteries.

Maybe the small contact surface to the battery in the Reo is the issue or am I wrong? I don't know.

Get new contacts from Corey.

Sure, you'll still have to clean the positive contact point from time to time.

But DAMN! One hit and you won't recognize your REO.

Great so the one animal that isn't poisonous or can bite you in half is intelligent and manipulative....

There's koalas and kangaroos. They're cute. Except for the claws.

Not sure if I should mention the drop bears: Drop Bear - Australian Museum

A lot of the parrots are lovely. Except for the sulphur-crested cockatoos. Hundreds of them can descend in a shrieking flock and shred all the timberwork on your house.

You will get black spots ...

The only way to avoid it is something that I haven't tried yet which is no ox id. The guys are saying it will prevent it. It is not a mod problem it is that the batteries are made with really crappy metal that cannot withstand 0.2 ohms without oxidizing. There is no running away from maintenance at these resistances with ANY mod!

The silver negative screw seems to have made a difference as well. I used to get the black stain of death on the positive contact when I had the original brass screw installed. Once i switched to the (relatively) new silver negative, no more spot. I use de-oxit (the red kind) for the positive.

Thanks guys, the silver contact will come with the mod as I "ordered" it together. I will definitely try NoOx paste thing. Additionally I will follow sloth's advice to try 0.3 ohm resistance as the mod seems to hit harder than the reos.
May be I will give some other batteries a try. As I heard that the LGs HG2 have a better material for the positive contact.

Lg hg2's didn't notice any difference with other batteries regarding material but they are good batteries to get nevertheless.

I just logged onto youtube and saw a comment posted recently about the CC mod. The commenter said they liked the Opeth I played at the end of the video about CC mods. Was that you by chance?
