It'll put a mirror finish on the positive contact in (seriously) 5 seconds (okay, if the black spot is big enough, maybe like 12 seconds...). Speaking of which...has anyone else seen their black spot now turn into a white spot?
Not sure what caused it, but now I don't get a black spot. It's white...however, I'm now seeing (I think...because it's veeery small) a couple black spots on my battery positives... Could putting such a polished finish on the one surface cause the other surface to exhibit the issue? Also, the white spot seems to go away much easier than the black spot did. Haven't tried to clean the batts though... (veeery tiny)...Edit: Also, (and I haven't done this yet, but plan to with the next one...) they're a "true" 2" square so there's enough meat there to cut it into 4 squares. The rounds on the 4 corners are useful but 2" is slightly more than needed for contacts and the center of the pad isn't really touched and having a 90° on it could be helpful.
