a friend gave me a low pro and a pan cake, to start off this squonking adventure, any thoughts on those 2?

I was unimpressed with the Low Pro but the Pancake was a fine atty.

Not to worry, my good man. :)

The mag holes in the body are still just a little too tight for my liking... I've got a reamer coming that's a half a thousandth of an inch bigger than the one I'm using now. Should be perfect. :thumb:

In the meantime.........

I took a few pichers at work today, of a couple of the prototypes....

Better lighting there.... Plus, the fake granite counter top looks classy!

Dual 18650 and a 26650...

There may be an issue with the third one. :(

I'm still tryin' to work out some details.....

That's what I'm talkin' bout

But you are killin' me :pervy:

But I like it :D

Cory, I hope you've noted my extreme enthusiasm about a dual 18650. i WILL have it.

I'm a big fan of the Pancake. I own three and run dual vertical coils in all of them. Awesome BF atty.

So,.......what's everybody doin'? :?:

Just got in the prebuilt Clapton coils last night and installed on my Nuppin'. First day today, liking it so far! I put my reading glasses on to check out the winds, I would never have the patience to make a coil look so perfect!!:thumb:

So how would the Ti compare in durability to the SS?

According to this chart, 6AL-4V Ti has more than twice the tensile strength of 316 SS, and almost twice the compressive strength...

They are both extremely hard, howevever.

Is that a parallel or series dualy?

As Nauti said, parallel. :thumb:

do new model list spots hold up from october? that parallel looks nice

I do indeed still have your spot saved from October of last year. :)

Ss26650, brilliant I'm in even with a ....e aussie dollar. Keen to see the top to.

I can add you to list, though I'm not sure when/if SS will be an option on these.

Of course, my good man! :D

If no one has spoken for the 26650 I have.

There are 5 people that asked to be added to the list for a 26650 mod, from back in October of last year when it was first discussed. I have yet to contact any of them, given that we're not quite there yet, so I'm not sure if they're still interested.

I will add you to the list, my friend. :thumb:

Excuse a stupid question but, what're the advantages of a 26650? Battery life?

Thanks!

Indeed! More battery life, while still using a single battery. :thumb:

It's fun seeing so much interest in your new creations. And they're not even finished yet! Very exciting...

Very exciting, indeed, my friend!

So I have been giving the Clapton a work out today and really enjoying it! Running the 28/32 setup at .7 ohms single. I noticed slightly warmer vape, and a bit more clouds than both my twisted, and parallel builds. I still can't get over how perfect the winds are! $7.00 for 10 coils you can't beat them!! I run RxW still so a coil/wick combo will last awhile.:thumb:

i have a 26' by vaughan richards. Really nice for a long day out, with 10ml of liquid and a battery that's good to the last drop

i think the 26650 and dual crows were far more patient than the titanium crew :nun:

Titanium doesn't give, the way the other metals do, when you try to press somethin' into it...

The mag holes have to be just a few ten thousandths of an inch smaller than the mag to allow for a press fit... THAT, took some doin'... :thumb:

Given how brittle magnets are (don't ask me how I know) I don't imagine they give much either?
