Aw man. I got so excited thinking you were making an atty! I have an incredible
Idea for a flavor atomizer but I literally have no idea how one goes about getting it done. You have all the skill and surely plenty of ideas yourself ! Hell I'll send you sketches of my idea for you to
Run with !

I'd love to see a Corey special on top of a Corey special.

Y U no in FL? :?:
Got stuff going on in the office next week that I have to be present for.

The plus side is that the last of the insulation & drywall work in FL should be done next week, and staying in a place getting that kinda work is less than desirable -- particularly to my wife.

No matter what I tried (and I tried a lot) the stupid camera in my phone refused to focus on Brassy for a shot like this:

It's a somewhat eerie day in the woods today, but at least the trees are starting to greein up.

Are you using iOS or android ? Plenty of camera apps which allow manual focusing ! I can recommend something easy to use which has better fixed focus than the stock camera if you're on iPhone. Anyway looking good !

Hex head screws are of the devil. I'm pretty sure it went something like :

Heaven.
Earth
The Fall
Hex head screws.

I can't believe there are no good compact hex tools that work better than a little hex wrench - even the little 4 in 1 with and handle storage is too big imo. Plus they strip so easily.

I have this one at present. It works but it's too big for my build kit.

I have the v1 awesome geekvape tool kit which they subsequently replaced with a much lesser version 2 and upped the price. I have limited space and I have tried several. What I really need is something like a precision driver but which accommodates 3 sizes without being three independent. Like my 4 in 1 screwdriver. I actually bought the eek vap kit despite owning most of the tools independently and stored in a pencil bag.

For something to stay in my vape kit it has to
Do multiple functions. The geek vape kit has a 1.5mm bit. Maybe I can find a bit that works with the coil tool handle in 1.5 and 2mm sizes then I can remove two of the coil rods i rarely use. I think the handle accepts a pretty standard bits. So I'll see if I can find some specific bits for hex.

Here is my toolkit.

Everything in the top right is add on stuff. And it's getting out of control. I replaced the plastic handle folding scissor with a full metal one (the plastic were fine I had the metal one from before purchase)

The coil tool has rods with a square attachment on one side and the other side accepts bits.

Since I never use 3.5 or 4 mm wrap rods my thought is now finding hex bits to replace them with. Would be nice if they were marked like the other rods but I can't expect to find that.

When the case is zippered shut it allows me to store 4 spools of wire and native wicks cotton too. And when I'm finished it's a cinch to pack away and store.

So you can see why my requirement is for small and one or two tools not a full set. My only complaint about this kit is there is only one hex bit. 1.5mm. The screwdriver bits work fine I just had the 4 in 1 Stanley and it's more comfortable.

Wow that's a lot about tools. I wish I'd found this kit first after buying a different meter and piecing stuff together. I also wish they didn't discontinue it for a much more generic kit with much less at the same price. These are getting hard to find now though I think a few plate around on eBay for $55 if anyone wonders.

I'm using a craftsman t6 torx not pictured for the same reason. It fits (and no it doesn't strip) three sizes of hex. I've never seen another torx driver that has the same taper or works the same. Even craftsman don't make it anymore. Bt I figure st some point I should figure a better solution out.

So that said. Where do you source your screws to be sure they're minimum 304 pref 316? There are a lot of scrap metal screws around and since they are in contact with everything I don't want some super cheap plated toxic metal screws that rust or contaminate. I see a lot of screws for sale but it's impossible to know how makes good ones. I don't own a 15k $ material analyzer. This is a big issue with clone tanks for example and something very few seem to consider. It's great to know a body is stainless but what about the screws! They're right next to the heat !
