BF RDA "Swamper" Atomizer pins?

I've noticed that some BF atomizer pins are slotted for use with a flat-head screwdriver, while others have smooth non-slotted pins. I've never used a BF atomizer, but I seems to me that a slotted pin would result in leakage between the mod commutator pin and slotted atomizer pin. Is this true, or is this a non-issue?

Non-issue for me and the mods I use.
If you do get leakage, put a drip tip size o-ring over the atty 510.
It's the threads that do the sealing.

I asked this question in a similar way once before and was doubtful. Puffon gave me the exact same advice and he was right. I have slotted bf pins and they do not leak at all.
