I'm trying to do some research... or a preemptive strike, as it were... on big bat mods for the near future. I thoroughly enjoy vaping with 3.7 bats, and I'm sure I'll like vaping with a 5v, USB passthru (which I'm ordering later today)... and at some point, I'm sure I'll be wanting a big-bat mod for unleashing huge clouds o' vapor all over the countryside, SO...

1) Which big bat mods can I use cartomizers with? The Xhaler has a tip for a KR808d-1 listed, so I'm okay there, but what about some of the others, like the Chuck, the Silver Bullet, etc... Or can I use any of them with some sort of attachment?

2) When going from a higher voltage PV, do you find that you have to use lower nic carts because of the increased vapor production?

3) Some time ago, I came across a mod that had blue, flashing LED's around the back end of the unit... however, I can't remember the name of it, or where I found it... anyone know which mod I'm talking about?

1) Silver Bullet with a 510-901 adaptor, available from Altsmoke
2) I don't use carts but yes I reduce my nicotine levels down to half when I use 5v+, that depends on your own physiology and sensitivity to nicotine though. Best to use your regular levels then switch down if necessary.
3) The only one I can think of with LED's on the end is the Janty Stick or generic name Joye Stick : JOYE Stick : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Hey, thanks for the response... I thought I was gonna lose this thread... if fell so fast!

1) I've been eyeing the Silver Bullet and the BB, and I have to say... I absolutely LOVE the big, happy button they both sport... and, I like to buy as locally as possible... Altsmoke is only on the other side of town, so I'm inclined to order from them in the future for that reason, as well...

2) Understood... this does beg another question, though... Is a 5v vape on a big-bat mod the same as a 5v hit on a USB passthru?

3) Nope, that's not it, but thanks for playing the game...

1) Which big bat mods can I use cartomizers with?

All of them with the adapter from Altsmokes

AltSmoke | Personal Vaporizer : The Yeti, JOYE510, DSE901 and More!

2) When going from a higher voltage PV, do you find that you have to use lower nic carts because of the increased vapor production?

I do and most everyone I have read on the forum goes lower but there is a small few that stay with the higher nic ... Try it out and see what is best for you ... if the nic is too high I get the sweats I know Nhaler sells a lower nic with his HV (high voltage) juice that I find just right.

I don't know about the blue LED's on the back unit ??? The vapor51 has lights that go all the way around and come in a few colors including blue and the DSE905 also has a light around top of unit I have red. :)

It was the VP2 I had seen... very ostentatious, I must say!

And thanks, youtubecommercial... AltSmoke will probably (90% chance) become my next vendor of choice because they have some great vaping devices (I'm partial to the Black Silver Bullet, myself) and they're kind of local to me...

Thanks All...

    Somewhere between here and there
I am one of those few that did not switch to lower nic when I got a high voltage pv. I thought that I might be able to at first but I just wasn't getting the nic I needed and could feel it. I think that maybe I just don't absorb as much of the nicotine as some people for some reason. I use 24mg all day and sometimes a little 36mg. You will just have to try it for yourself to see if you can cut down.

Re: question 1): the Altsmoke 510 to KR808 adapter works fine for cartomizers on Chucks (there's a video review on it by DaMulta you can search for, although it was created before the single adapter came out--he used a combination of adapters to get his to work).

The adapter can also can be found cheaper (but longer shipping) at:
E-cig Multi Adapters - Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier

    Cool... thanks!

Oh, and I do like your Chuck... is that the symbol for the Green Lantern? I'm not a comic book geek, so I'm not sure...

Hey. The answer to the third question is probably the spade. It has rings towards the atomizer and they come in a bunch of different colors like green, blue, red, purple maybe some others, not sure. But that should be it. Don't know if someone already posted that but I figured I would go ahead and throw that out there. Good luck finding it if that isn't it. Vape-on brother!!!
