All of my equipment had been working flawlessly for like 6 days (is that a record?) and today, I filled one of my Nova tanks. I had it on the Provari and it was gurgling. I thought I had just overfilled it a bit. I switched it to my Twist to go to work and by the time I got to my car, there was juice dripping down my arm. Ran back up 3 flights of stairs to my apartment and fortunately, I had a clean extra tank and another Twist (you should always have more than 1) Had to clean the tank, Provari and Twist. I felt really stupid and wasted 3 ml of juice and was almost late for work. The rest of the day was ok, though. The moral of the story is ALWAYS HAVE A BACKUP!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear about that. It's sad when so much juice goes to waste. My first time using a Nova didn't go so well and I lost a full tank of liquid right onto my lap, but it was my own damned fault. I had filled it up and was vaping when I noticed that the bottom wasn't screwed on right. So I figure, no problem, I'll just turn the thing upside down, unscrew the bottom, and screw it back on. Well, here's the thing... the bottom part includes the center post, and without that, there's nothing stopping the liquid from coming out the mouthpiece. So lesson learned. Don't do that.

Hey before I developed a discipline of filling tanks etc. I wasted like 3ml on one ocassion and more than that on another. I now have a block of wood with holes drilled to hold the juice and the tank while I am filling. I now use the condom for the plain cartys. I also spilled like 1/3 of a cup of Everclear I use to clean my Carty's etc.. That sucked. I now do not watch TV when I do stuff like this. No matter what that :censored::censored: juice gets on something. I now wash my hands an will get gloves because I wiped my eyes with the fing stuff.
There is a learning curve involved. To much art to it rather than science in this. LOL
BUT I'M DOING MUCH BETTER NOW?????????? LOL its worth the trouble.

I guess it's better than having the lit cigarette .... fly back into your car or having burn holes in your clothes. I just wish they would come up with some kind of a drip tip that blocks the juice from getting in your mouth. I will certainly be more careful about filling the tanks from now on. That was the first time that the Nova leaked through the bottom hole, too. I think my atty was shot and I told myself to clean the tank and replace it, but I got lazy. It's working fine now and I have some knucklehead drip tips on the way, so maybe that will help.
