Big diffrence but why is that?

AFAIK (i have a v3 not a v2) one is RMS and one is peak power. RMS is true power, a more accurate display of what is being put out. Im not sure how to explain it in simple terms, its fairly basic electronics though. Do a quick google search of RMS vs Peak power. I am assuming that is the difference between the two based on what ive read up on the V2's settings. I could be off, but I think that is what it is. The V3 is RMS only.

NO1 is average (not peak)
RMS is root mean square

Both are historical ways of measuring voltage in alternating current- like the electricity in your have in your house. VV/VW devices like the Vamo use pulse width modulation, which is similar to AC or alternating current.

RMS is generally considered the most accurate measurement.

One is not really expected to switch between one or the other.

There is no reason I can think of for any device to use the AVG method, which is why NO1 was removed in the Vamo V3.

Thanks for clearing that up. Knew for a fact the one was RMS, assumed the other was peak.

indeed i was, IATSE Local 2 apprentice, audio engineer, lighting engineer, MECP certified, and just an audio junkie in general. When it comes to electronics, thats usually where my mind goes first, lol.

Mine too. Love my stereo and some great jams - nothing like some original Sabbath or Metallica playing though my Bryston B60, Rega DAC or Pro-Ject 1Xpression (with Dynavector 10x5 and Speed Box) through my Audio Physic Yara Evolution Bookshelves. If you know what any of that stuff is, we're on the same page.

Not very many people left to talk stereos with. Most of those forums have too many petty arguements that killed pretty much any fun I used to have on them.

Now back to our regularly scheduled vape rants.

Thats wierd... It worked better at no1 with a 2.5 coil and with a 80/20 mixed vendor juice... With a 1.5 coil with pure vg homemade juice it works best on no2

The setup and juice that tasted better on no1 just likes more power. VW is not set it and forget it. In my experience, lighter juices like lower watts/volts, more complex or strongly flavored juices like higher watts/volts. It also has to do with your coil/wick. To me, a 1.5ohm coil will like it lower than a 2ohm coil, but there are many variables that can effect this. The good news is, you have a VV/VW APV and you can adjust your power at the click of a tiny button :D

I really want a set of B&Ws, but since the pair i want is 14k for the pair, i better start saving, lol. Im a big DIY guy, also a Hi-Fi fan. My roommate im moving in with in a few weeks has a nice Hi-Fi setup, i have a decent setup in my car, all DIY, active crossovers that are fully adjustable, im going to stop there cuz i can rant about car audio for WEEKS. For general listening at home i usually use my small studio monitors/small sub. But i just inherited my parents old Boston Acoustic 6.1 system since they are going to upgrade when they move. (Not Hi-Fi, but for 24 years old, ill ....ing take it, lol). There are some ridiculous shops in Chicago that I have spent HOURS looking around in. If i need to drown out the world around me, Beyerdynamic DT770s (80Ω). Best headphones ever. Another rant I could get into but dont. If you need audio talk, reddit has some great subreddits dedicated to audio, diy, hifi, recording, etc. /r/audioengineering is one of my go-to's.

High Quality Audio Equipment & Accessories at deciBel.com (they have some really nice amps).

Is not that one juice taste better in NO1 and another juice taste better in NO2 is as simple as both juices are better in diferent wattage. NO1 wiil give you a higher output than displayed so this juice means need a higher wattage in NO2 over the the other juice.

Think for example
juice A in NO1 at 8w
juice B in NO2 at 8w

The juice A is getting a higher wattage than the juice B so if you like the juice A in NO1 at 8w that mean that same juice need to be cranked up to 10w in NO2. The numbers here are for you get an idea not a real test.

Is very normal that some juices like a higher wattage over others.
