I just got a Vamo v2, and it's a bit different from the other regulated mods I have (itaste vv3, sigelei zmax) so I looked up instructions online for the buttons and settings.
Here's the thing: when you hold down the right-hand small btn for 10 secs, it changes the "mode" -- NO1 or NO2 -- instructions I've read suggest that NO2 is a better setting, it seems to correspond to "RMS" while NO1 seems to correspond to "mean" ("average"). With my sigelei, Mean mode makes it run so hot, it gives me dry hits and burnt juice. I have to set it to RMS mode to get proper voltage or wattage settings. But with the Vamo, setting it to "NO2" -- which seems to correspond to RMS -- it runs so low that I have to set it 2 or 3 watts higher to get anything at all. For me to get what actually *seems* like 9w, I have to go to "NO1" mode.
Has anyone else experienced this, with a Vamo V2?
