I have no knowledge in chemistry, and sorry if my doubt seems alarmist, or absurd, but it is only a doubt, and if there was someone with some knowledge of chemistry in this forum who can answer that would be great :).
So if i accidentally have an e-liquid stain on a difficult surface to wash, for example a car seat, or a sofa, or in the pocket of a jacket that I can't wash off immediately, an enough large stain to contain the lethal dose of nicotine (for example 3ml of liquid to 18mg/ml contain in total 54mg of nicotine), is possible, when the stain is dried, that the nicotine remains in dusty form on those woven, or on the objects nearby?
it is possible that only the propylene glycol and the glycerin evaporate, and leaving all the nicotine in a dangerous and not visibile free pure form, like salts or powder? in that case it would be dangerous for skin absorption? absurd or real?

thanx for help

Well, you would need 10-20 times that to be a problem...after many people survived the assumed lethal dose, it was questioned in a 2013 review; the 2013 review suggests that the lower limit causing fatal outcomes is 500–1000 mg of orally ingested nicotine.

Worst case scenario, someone is going to get a nic buzz (probably HIGHLY unlikely after drying), if you have children or pets, do your best to always clean any nicotine liquid spills thoroughly and right away though just for good measure :)

Perhaps if a newborn puppy licked it it might have problems but on somthing like a car seat it should be able to be removed with an alcohol wipe. You shouldnt have problems with this kind of thing though if it has dried... they can be a pain to remove tho.
Yea, dogs have bad reactions to nicotine and it can be deadly too in higher doses. The only problem I see is if it were high in VG and a dog got attracted to the sweet smell and licked it. But, even then I doubt it could get enough nic to really hurt it. But, all things aside it's better to be safe than sorry. Most people I know that vape keep some paper towels or a rags with them with their "stuff" for the inevitable spill and to wipe down after refilling.
