Hi just signed up on the site after reading some interesting posts. Just ordered my first e-cig off a site and after reading some of the remarks maybe i should have waited and done a bit more research. Ordered myself one of those miniciggy things, which from reading some of the feedback, looks like i should have gone for something better.

Been a heavy smoker for over 50 years and getting a little breathless...lol
I smoke about 40 fags a day, rollies + I'm quite a heavy pipe smoker, love my pipes and normally got one or the other in my mouth. Now coming up to 65 years old and for some reason have got the urge to try and quit, or at least cut down quite a lot, hence the reason to try one of these electric things. Did have a go at stopping last year using NRT, but it was a complete waste of time and lasted about an hour, never felt so bad in my life...lol.

Will be looking at all the posting on which e-cig you guys recommend, in hopes that i might find one that will do the trick. Or maybe it's going to be like pipes, where you end up with a rack full.:):)

If you feel you can refill carts then I suggest a 3 piece (cart, atomizer and batt).

I am going to recommend the eGo / Tornado (both are the same). It is more money than the 510 but you won't need to purchase xtra batts, a pcc or a PT.

If you go with the eGo / Tornado you will need to order xtra attys with your purchase.

Based on your analog habit, seems that you will need juice that is high in nic content, somewhere in the order of 18 - 26 mg/ml.

Just my 2 cents. More recommendations to follow.

Regardless of what you get, once you start don't look back.
vape On and welcome to the forum.

Hi Mike,
You've come to the right place to research and learn. Maybe you need to try both an ecig a an epipe. I hear a lot of good things from pipe lovers on the epipe!!!
Hope you have a wonderful adventure here.

Hi Katmar.
That's exactly what i have done, got one of each ordered. Should soon be puffing my eyeballs out.:)

Hi all just joined former 2-pk a day smoker and initially a NON-comitted quitter -- but I tried an e-cig and have never turned back. Over eight weeks tobacco free and experiencing all the benefits of quitting. I smoked for forty years and still cannot believe how easy this has been - I love vaping!! and have helped 5 diff. co-workers to make the switch.
