Well, I got the bike out today and tried to ride her a bit, but it was just to cold. I got about a 1/2 mile down the road, and had to turn around. I sold my old one in Sept and bought this one in December. I think i'm gonna put a FSUSA sticker on it somewhere if I can get one to help the guys out a little ;) Heres a picture of her. Does anyone else do any riding? 167949_185867564765138_100000256874003_627143_3682051_n.jpg

bikergirl is a cool name! lol. Ya, I was trying to ride, but the cold air kept on knocking the mess out of me LOL. I guess I need at least mid 40s or else it's just to cold. I can't wait for spring to get here.

That is awful pretty there, Josh. The weather isn't too good to be riding right now though. I have a friend here (bikergirl1908) that works at a bike shop and is really into them.

I ride, but currently don't have a bike at the moment. My last bike(1999 Virago 1100) didn't survive. I was going 50mph down the highway when someone leaving a gas station decided to cross the highway about 25 feet in front of me. Luckily I survived when I probably should'nt have. It's not much fun tumbling down the highway at that speed. Someone up above was looking out for me, because I was able to walk away with only some cuts, bruises and roadrash. Took me about 3 months to heal completely, but I do plan on getting another bike this fall. I think I'm going sport tourer this round, and will probably get a Yamaha FJR 1300.

See that is what scares me about Bikes. No matter how careful you are it is the other fools out there that will get you!

I have been on a bike once but I still have haunting images from when I was 11. I saw a motorcyclist go under a car and it wasn't his fault either. He was using the proper hand signals and some *bleep* hit the bike and he went under. I LOVEEEEE the sound of a motorcycle.

I can make sounds like a motorcycle!

sweet bike! I bet that bike goes with a 1200!

It does go. Not only is it a 1200, it is a 1200 "S" for sport. This means that from the factory
the stock cams were replaced with performance cams, the stock heads were replaced with Buell
Lightening heads. Instead of 1 spark plug per cylinder it has 2. The compression is higher than the
stock 1200 as well.

Now, she is no Ducati, she definitely has some get up and go! :)

Dang! Glad you're OK! I lost a VTX1300 to a driver making a left turn in front of me. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to ride again because of back injuries (3 compressed vertebrae from landing on my head), but got back on my little VLX about 6 months later. I've moved up to a Spirit 1100 now, and passed the VLX on to my youngest son. It gets me smiling to see him in my rear view mirror!

And I haven't taken my bike out in a while, hasn't been above freezing here for way too long.
