Sue, glad your ok hun. I almsot got a VTX 1300 good bike they are!!! I know you loved it.

Dang! Glad you're OK! I lost a VTX1300 to a driver making a left turn in front of me. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to ride again because of back injuries (3 compressed vertebrae from landing on my head), but got back on my little VLX about 6 months later. I've moved up to a Spirit 1100 now, and passed the VLX on to my youngest son. It gets me smiling to see him in my rear view mirror!

And I haven't taken my bike out in a while, hasn't been above freezing here for way too long.

Glad you made it through your accident as well, and riding again. Also glad to see you got the family riding. The Spirit 1100 are nice bikes. I was looking into those back before I got my Virago.

Virago's are nice! I was dating a guy when I was in the navy that got one the first year they came out, back when a 750 was a HUGE bike! :p BTW, if you ever get the chance, take a ride up the Pacific Coast Hwy in CA, absolutely killer!!

Yup, I was just getting used to the power change between my little VLX and the monster VTX. I got it in July and it was totaled in January. :( I did manage to get a couple of road trips in beforehand, here's a pic of me riding the "Loop" while down in FL for Biketoberfest:

Its to bad we don't all live closer together. We could get together and Vape, eat, Ride and shoot guns LOL

If you went out yesterday, you've got the heart of a man ! It was cold in Asheboro, and it's not that far from your area.
I ride an '07 Ultra and my wife an 07 Deluxe.
I've had a couple choppers, and sold the '04 Vengeance I'm sitting on in my picture to a state patrolman back in the spring.Hated to do it,but needed the $$ to cover some bills, had a bout with lung cancer early last year. All clear and cancer free now.
Maybe we can hook up for a ride and a vape when it warms up.My cold weather riding days are behind me! Was a time though, lol.

Well, I got the bike out today and tried to ride her a bit, but it was just to cold. I got about a 1/2 mile down the road, and had to turn around. I sold my old one in Sept and bought this one in December. I think i'm gonna put a FSUSA sticker on it somewhere if I can get one to help the guys out a little ;) Heres a picture of her. Does anyone else do any riding?View attachment 27182
Your a lucky guy Josh. That is one nice HD. I have owned a bunch of bikes in my life but I got to old to ride in the rain all the time so I sold my last one.

Nice scoot.

I got my first bike, a 67-68-69 softie in a basket, for my 16th birthday. Took me four weeks to get it together another week to make it run and then another 4 days to break it down and take it out of my bedroom. In the end the sheriff got the scoot a fire got the pics and all I have left are the memories of a simpler time.

These days I run around in a big black cage. Might as well have a walker and a colostomy bag.
