BAHAHAHA!!!! I dunno...I DID state that I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff. I'm planning a trip to Home Depot after work to look at some stuff.
Take a picture of the mod with you, find an old guy in the plumbing dept,
ASK FOR HELP
A few tools, like a drill and some bits, a hack saw, and yes the dremel, some files, fine sand paper, metal polish, 2 part epoxy, soldering iron.
Then head off to Walgreens and pick up some band aids.

I think I actually have all those...except the band aids...need to get some more bits for my dremel though. I'll seek out the first old guy I see in the plumbing dept, and see if he knows anything.
Yeah no joke. I drilled a hole through my thigh last night while working on my first VV box mod. Didn't bother to check it for 5 min, I was in the middle of something ;D

This is a more recent find. It's in Canada but I'm sure with some looking their must be something like it in the states.

I opened it up and inside it contained a orange MNKE IMR-18650 which is 1500mah chemical high discharge battery hooked to a charging board with a 7.2volt looks like a 8amp switch.
I am going this week and buying a few, should have one modded by next week.

Went to Home Depot and got some really great ideas. I'll be giving this modding thing a try as soon as I can. Thank you all for the inspiration and ideas!!

Well, it might NOT happen if it were all left up to my mechanical "prowesslessness" but a local ECF'er has offered to help out if and when I get stuck. I'll be sure to post pics when I get it done.
its alittle long i was going to cut 2 inches off but it works so i didnt and im lazzy lol the case was a 2 cigar holder and a flask but it holds 2 18650s and the vv board from mad vaps
It has two (parallel) 14650's in it right now. Could get 16's in it if you wanted, just not enough brass there for 18's. I like having the plumbing isle parked in front of the house except when the homeless guy comes by. Thanks for the props.
