My power up button is kinda janky, it wiggles and it doesn't really click like the power down and fire buttons. But here she is.

So some quality updates here... The buttons have broken in well, they all give a bit of tactile feedback. Maybe I got some juice in them but I thin they are doing better. There is a flat cap option for the 26-28mm atty's there may be a thing or two that can be done to flush up the magma and such by grinding the surface on the floating pin. I would have a grinded version and a longer version making all options available. I will let you know SPeteW on the status of the Magma after I do some bench work. Here is he link to the flat top... Big Nasty Flat Top Cap Get it while you can because it fills in all of the final blanks on the Big Nasty, I ordered one yesterday so I should have it soon, I also ordered a 28mm TOBH and Stillare. Its time to think B I G!!! and Nasty!

So, that kinda accentuates the break in form from the bottom to the top. I kinda like the look of the slant cap a bit more, but thats without an atty attached. I very much believe Ill like the flat cap better with one of those huge drippers.

My flat cap wont be here until next week considering I just ordered it tonight. Not sure how I missed the release. I saw on their Facebook page when they posted a picture of coming soon but never saw an actual release notice. Oh well, I still need to find an atty first.

My BigNasty/DNA30d module arrived and it looks great. I also ordered the flat top cap. I have to say the whole device is a very well bit mod. I am not a big mechanical fan so I can't comment on the function of the switch but it looks very nice.

I have no complaints about the machining and everything fits together nicely. I really like the adjustable pin. Install your atty and the floating pin slides out then adjust the battery pin to make connection with the DNA module.

My only complaint would be my up/down buttons kinda rattle. I assume they are suppose to sit between the board and the button hole and the board holds them against the mod. My buttons have about 1mm of play before they contact the board buttons allowing them to freely slide in and out when handling the mod. Also my right button is slightly shorter then the other. The buttons work fine just rattle a bit. I was wondering if anyone else up/down buttons have the same issue?

It is a bit heavy. I was comparing it to my ZNA with 18650 brass tube, and I can't tell which is heavier, dang the ZNA is a tank. They could have shaved at least 5mm off the battery cap, it is 10mm thick after the threading, dang big hunk of metal. The BigNasty tube itself is very light most of the weight is in the module and battery cap. Threading is nice and fits together with very little seams. They could have shaved at least 5mm off the battery cap, it is 10mm thick after the threading, dang big hunk of metal. The battery cap doesn't have the logo engraved on it like it does in the Cigtechs picture, seems none of the mods came with the logo that I have seen.

I would recommend this device, it looks nice, fits well in my hand, and can easily be used to fight of zombies by bashing them in the skull. Overall I would give the whole package a 9/10. Although it was pricey purchasing the BigNasty, DNA Module, and flat top cap at one time.

I have the same rattle issue with mine. Actually I am sending it back tomorrow, mostly because for whatever reason mine likes to cycle power on and off so I get very inconsistent hits, so I was like well might as well mention my wattage up button is janky. We will see if they resolve that issue. Also when it came to the mechanical version I had a 1-1.2 voltage drop which in my opinion is very unacceptable for the price of the mod. They said they would hook me up with the updates they did to the V2 which supposedly increase voltage by .4 to .6.

I could take a picture and we could have triplets.

Ya know, I feel like I paid a small fortune for this mod. Maybe a little too much actually. So as I was looking at my spare parts ie. top cap and mech button it made me realized if we could convince them to sell us or everybody spare body tubes I could have two full mods out of it. Of course the price would have to be right but it could make me feel a little better about all the money spent.

Only thing is you know they would want like probably $60-70 for an extra tube. Then put the top cap which is what like $28 which in my opinion is too much, it would put the price of this up to close to $400. I can't say I am the happiest with knowing I've paid $300 for the current setup, mostly because of the performance as a mech.

Im not sure what the deal with the cycling power issue is all about. We should search it out in the DNA type threads or with evolve. I have three DNA 30's and all of them do this when Im vaping over 23 watts. Im sure they are all defective which sucks and Im too lazy to do anything about it. I have a Vapor Shark DNA 30, ZNA 30 and this Tatroe DNA 30. Ive just adjusted my coil building and vaping habbits and build at or over an ohm and Im usually satisfied at or below 22 watts.

I had the same thing happening, more at 30w with my MNKE battery. With either of the green Sony's this only happens when the battery is about dead. There is a spec sheet I saw earlier for the DNA30 where it stated if the battery is too weak for the power being demanded from it the chip will recycle.

On another note, the Kayfun 26650 came in today and is vaping very nicely...

The Big Fogger v4 is drying from its wash but I don't think I'm going to build it tonight. Seems like something is amiss with the airflow. Way to hard to draw even wide open and the doesn't seem to be anything in the airholes...
