It sounds like British PM's are more intune with their constituents than American politicians. I mostly get boilerplate BS responses.

I suppose that all politicians are the same everywhere in the West - keep asking and you will get some sort of reply. The first replies will be boilerplate, but keep banging the door and they will begin to think about your arguments imho.

You've got that right wv. I've contact one of our Senator's numerous times with the same bs, non-specific response. Make next contact with him when he runs for re=election and my vote will be "boilerplate". Funny that I'm writing about him today because he was on TV talking about all the wonderful things Obama has done for us. Right.

All the wonderful things, right, lol. All the "kool-aid" drinkers are nodding their heads in unison right now. If we don't laugh we will only have crying to keep us company. There are just too many lies emanating from this administration. Their lies about vaping are just part of the list.

So please don't repeat pharma propaganda that denies we exist - we, the community, defeated the EU vote because only we could do so. We had a little bit of help from the trade, but let's keep the proportions in perspective here. As a former smoker (30 years, 1.5 packs/day), I am another person who has benefited from the availability of e-cigs. I didn't mean to quit smoking - I loved to smoke - but I bought a starter e-cig kit six over six months ago and haven't had a cigarette since that day. (I don't miss it either.)

I am also a nurse who works mainly with elderly patients. One thing no one mentions but that I find particularly interesting are the recent studies (both completed and on-going) that show strong correlations between nicotine use and a significantly reduced risk of Parkinson's/Alzheimer's. (By 'significantly', I'm speaking of 30-50% reduced risk.)

The havoc both Parkinson's and Alzheimer's causes not just the patient, but their families - not even counting the huge amounts of money it takes to care for these individuals - is something I've witnessed first hand far too often.

Personally, I would not be at all surprised if doctors start prescribing nicotine for their patients at high risk of or in the early stages of dementia.

Wouldn't that be ironic?

Ah yes, e-cigs haven't been tested yet... I wonder what we're all doing here in this 'ere and other forums talking about mods, liquids, what have you...

Analogs OTOH have been tested thoroughly - on the consumers. The cumulative body count of that outranks some good sized wars.

And big pharma - at heart still the snake oil peddlers from the Wild West. Lots of recalls of medicines due to some undesired side effects - like folks dying.

Bad for the balance sheet - dead folk don't buy no pills no more and healthy folk don't buy no pills in the first place...

I've got to stop watching fun conspiracy shows, this one had me saying "I know, right" all through the entire show.
It's about that illegal Logan act, of the Bilderbergers(sp), Kissinger, FDA, Food, water, fracking, crop dusting, vaccines, Medicines,, ACETANE, all kinds of stuff combining into one reason why they want us all to die. One world order, of course, and there's too many people using too many resources...
But, the point that brings me to share my nutzoidness out loud, is the way they okay deliberate amounts of Acetame, while they try to abolish us because one tiny microscopic trace of it in a cart was found ... Or something like that, I forget.

The Bilderberg Group certainly is an interesting society. Anytime global leaders meet in secrecy, under the guise of privacy, you should be suspicious. I've been curious about Gates-Buffet Pledge since it was announced in 2010. With all the issues in the US you wonder why all that accumulated wealth would be directed into a single global "charitable" effort made by the richest of the rich. I think the count is over 100 individuals by now. I could envision a "New World Order" being created, stepping outside the boundaries of sovereign states and controlled by the most powerful individuals in the world. However that couldn't possibly happen, not in my lifetime anyway. At least I don't think so.
