About 6 weeks ago, I'd never even heard of e-cigs.
A month ago someone gave me a Super Mini w/ nicotine-free carts to try. Hated it.
Came here to ask for info about buying nicotine carts for the Super Mini.
Captain Resistant here never intended to follow your advice about just buying a new e-cig. I just couldn't be bothered.
Then I said I just wanted straight tobacco taste, never mind those silly flavors...
Fast forward to today- my new Joye 510 is charging and I'm looking for best vendors for flavored juice, PCC's, additional manual batteries etc.
You guys are an awesome support for newbies, I didn't get a single nasty comment or response.
Special thanks to BlondeAmbition and kilroy for immediate responses and great tips.
Biggest kudos to Richie for taking an incredible amount of time to clear up my questions, especially when I was ready to forget the whole thing as the info got tougher to understand.
All my friends are asking me about vaping. I am paying your generosity forward as well as directing them here.
Best,
Dean in South Jersey

Oh, South Jersey... that would explain the "y'all" you tossed out previously. <g>

I hope at least *some* of my gibberish made sense. =)

Any vaper who has been around for a little a bit can sense when the new guy is about to chuck the whole experience and buy a pack of smokes. That's when the experienced folks have to step it up and lead the new vaper in the right direction. That direction will vary on the vaper giving the advice as to specifics but the overall goal is to lead the newbie to a path of satisfaction while curtailing costs and frustration.

You're a researcher, Dean. I just gave you a nudge here and there. Once you've fully digested all this newness (and you're well on your way) you'll be doling the info back out to another new guy/gal. And so it goes...

I would suggest re-reading Don DaBoomVape's guide to e-cigarettes again in the near future. It will make more sense now that you have the basics down -- and a 510 in your mouth.
