thanks to this site, i can't believe i can call myself a non-smoker now...
i've been doing research for months on these things (with a big majority of it reading through posts here).. but couldn't figure out if it was another hoax or what... then my mom started talking about them.. and we decided to try it out together.. she only wanted one cause shes a flight attendant and cant smoke on the plane.. and i only got it cause i'm a front desk clerk at a hotel... and when i work the night shifts and overnight shifts, i'm the only person there and not allowed to leave the front desk... the smoking area for employees is way around the back of the property outside... and it's not feasible to try and sneak out there... sometimes i would hang out the side door.. praying that my manager who lives on property wouldn't come around and catch me.. (cause that was a big no no too).. so i only got this thing because i wanted to be able to at least get my fix at work.. being in the hospitality field, it's pretty hard to be hospitable to certain guests when i'm feinding for a smoke.. and it was functioning for that purpose quite well.. well.. fast forward a month now.. its been almost 2 weeks without a cigarette! (and my mom who smoked for over 40 years is on week 3!) it started off with me being too lazy to go to the store to buy a pack.. i told myself id be fine with my e-cig till the next morning.. i did that a few days in a row.. then when i finally made it to the store for that pack of cigs and smoked one... it was totally disgusting.. i was shocked.. i couldnt even finish it.. wound up selling the pack to my roomate.. i didn't want to quit smoking at all.. i loved my cigs... i really did.. but now i couldnt be happier.. no more late night cigarrette runs... no sneaking outside at work to get my fix.. no more wanting to kill guests at work (ok well... maybe i should say there's less of a threat of me acting out on that now instead.. lol) and its cheaper in the long run too! was totally stoked when i realized i can spend that $140 a month on clothes instead of cigs! haha..
