The first mess I made was filling a Ce4 for the first time while not paying attention. I filled it right up to the top well above the wicks and got juice all over my hands and my lap. There's me screaming across the kitchen for the sink leaving a trail of juice. :(

Second, I bought a Vision Nano last week and the first time I filled it the damn thing leaked all down the side of my EVOD battery.
I cleaned it out, let it dry for a week, read some tricks to fill it and tried again. This time it dumped it's contents down the side of my Spinner!:mad: I'm obviously doing something wrong but screw it, I threw it!

So make me feel better! I'm new at all this and we all have leaks but there must be some funny stories of big messes, mishaps and catastrophes out there!

yeah, my worst was when I started in DIY and dumped 10ml of ripe banana flavor concentrate all over my countertop.

WHEEEWWW, is that stuff STRONG! My kitchen smelled like bananas for days. I have since constructed a piece of foam with cutouts in it to hold the vials when I am using them to prevent accidents like that happening.

I have had clearos leak out overnight, and got in the habit of filling them up at night and leaving them sitting out on a piece of cardboard. That way if one became leaky all of a sudden, the juice would get sucked up into the cardboard, and instantly alert me to a leaker that had to go into the 'tinker with pile'. It turned into a test for me whenever I got a new clearo. Fill it up with straight pg, leave it sitting on a piece of cardboard for awhile and then check it. No dark spot under the clearo? good to go.

Doing DIY is always a target for a spill of some kind....like having a 250ml bottle of pg/vg mix knocked over by a cat chasing another cat....yeah that was fun, like cleaning up egg yolks. I've learned to always always recap everything immediately! Don't feel bad, we've all had a mess on our hands, laps, table tops, coffee tables, etc..... :D

oh, and I did dump my first cartotank all over my lap the other day. Not the tanks fault. I was out at a friends party, and my friend's sister in law was really interested in my e-cigs, so I was trying to show her how they work and stuff, and went to pull the tank off 'just a little bit' to show her the carto inside of it. Well, I was a bit tipsy at this time, and pulled a bit to hard, and all of a sudden the tank was in my hand 6 inches above the carto, and juice was all over my pant leg.

Lesson learned, dont try to impress a friends sister in law with your e-cigs when you are a bit drunk. lol.

I spilled some juice, not much, and dabbed it up with a paper towel that I left on my desk. Turned out my dog found coffee juice irresistible and got up there and shredded the towel all over the living room. I flipped out thinking I’d poisoned him. Other than my heart attack, absolutely nothing happened. The other night I was watching something and missed the slot in the Davide and squirted a bunch of juice down the tube, out the drip tip and onto my leg. At least it was DIY so not a big loss but I still think The Paper Towel Incident was my biggest disaster.

A long ways back, I was filling an eMDCC with a 30ml bottle wid a new needle tip cap. Thought I was sooooo smart in buying dose 'precision' feeding caps.

Lil' did I realize dat da tips were restricted due to less than satisfactory QC. Started squeezing to fill... not quick nuff fer moi... squeezed harder... harder... cap launch... joose douche... flooded carto and no mo joose in da bottle.

Some time ago, i had the old CE 2s which were infamous for leaking. I put my PV in my breast pocket of my work uniform and it unknowingly started leaking my blue berry juice. Had someone point to me and she pulled me aside and asked if i was lactating. So embarrassing! But i smelled good like blueberries. Thank God it wasnt my crab juice. That stuff tastes great but smells awful.

Now i put tissues and napkins even in my wallet wherever i go.

The third time at my shops juice bar. BS'n with the owner and the hottie tattoo girl. Sampling a bunch of different juices. The girl had just filled up the "morning express" in a clearo for me. Im like "aw yeah that taste nice". Went to pull the clearo off to try a different flavor. Unscrewed the tank from the coil. Big ol mess on the counter. My hands. Pants. Floor. Tattoo girl says "Way to pop your cherry rookie"! And we all had a good laugh.

Yeah, I keep styrofoam pieces for that. It sucks when tanks or something tip over.

Thank God it wasnt my crab juice. That stuff tastes great but smells awful.

First 4 days after I moved to MT3's, only had a couple of ego style batteries, dumped 2 loads of fluid the first day switching flavors (bought 5 mt3's)...I was as my favorite watering hole. Next day....3 times @ work while refilling/testing! Rinse & repeat for 2 more days. Local B & M loved me that week buying more juice already!

Now that's what I'd call organic juice!
